Morning Cruiser, morning everyone - happy Sunday to you all

A lovely sunny start to the day and I think it may sort of stay like this. But goodness the mornings are chilly - September seems to have been bypassed and it feels like we've gone right into October - brrrrrrrr

Pootling around the house this morning, a bit of allotment time at some point and meeting Nadine in town to go shoe shopping.. We're off to Germany this weekend for our nieces wedding and usually they're a good few degrees warmer there, but their weather is as autumnal as it is here so I need something a bit warmer than originally planned.

Have a lovely day everyone and enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Morning peeps.

I woke at my usual 6am and fancied more sleep so I slept.

A pleasant 32 forecast today....hurrah. 8-)

A swim first then eggy bread for breakfast then we're off to la Trocha market. :D :D

We'll pick up a pollo asado and rustica bread on the way home and that's tea sorted. :D

Peaky's tonight. :cute: :cute: :cute:

Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone

A lovely sunny morning, so we had a lie in, ater a really good nights sleep :Hi: :Hi:

Cooler here too, for the next few days, then it ramps right up again

Treating ourselves to a cooked breakfast this morning, then doing not a lot. Will take down the framework over the tomatoes in the garden. Rubbish this year  but the one's in pots by the house are doing well. As are the peppers :D

Skyping with a friend later, the pool will be calling and we will have dinner using the hot plate again. Think I'll do something different, potato wise.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning everyone :)

Glad you're having a good time Cruiser :)

Ria, I skyped last week with my cousin Zoe, who is German, and she said the same about their weather  It's pretty chilly here too, I got up in the night and put my dressing gown on, then got back into bed wearing it  I bought some gorgeous new bedding in the Quays last weekend, I think I'll get the winter duvet out and put that on 8-)

Picking up a pollo sounds like a plan Ally, think I might do the same while we're out this morning :D

Sunny but chilly here. Out for the papers and a cuppa in a while. Chicken for dinner as mentioned above I reckon :)

Have a good Sunday, everyone :) xxx

Good morning all, it's sunny here and quite chilly. Chilly enough that I needed a coat this morning when I walked Bill. I think the forecast for that time was 6c. It was really beautiful walking though and the pool looked beautiful with the mist rising from it. We got to a high point and could see low lying mist all around, it was really lovely.

John's gone out for a bike ride, Tom's awake and is going to see Shannon after lunch. Joe stayed at Amanda's last night and he's also staying tonight and then they're off to Wales for the night tomorrow, they've booked an Airbnb somewhere near Barmouth. I really do feel for them this week with Amanda going off to university at the weekend :( We'll miss her too!

Have a good day all!

Morning Cruiser. Ria, it's only a couple of weeks since the hottest August bank holiday Monday on record but it's certainly Autumn now; in the mornings anyway. Enjoy the chicken Ally and 6c Jo?
A quiet day for us today hopefully. Just three for Sunday dinner. I got some bad news a couple of day since. Last year I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon re my hip. I was basically told I was borderline weight wise to be operated on, but go away and do some physio and come back when the pain gets worse. So I did.
So a couple of weeks since I went back to the GP, who was surprised that I hadn't been operated o last year. Turns out, in the interim the NHS has moved the goalposts. Now, you have to be the same bmi for hip replacements as knee replacements - in other words you've got to weigh much less. Even though a hip replacement will work in these circumstances when a knee replacement won't. So it's a waste of time atm me being referred again - thus keeping me off the waiting list.
It would have been nice to have been told about this. I am going to lose the excess but the sneakiness of it is really annoying.
Anyway it's lovely morning here, sunny but cool. Have a good one everybody.

That's awful Crommers, and should you need to lose weight it's not easy when the joints are painful is it :(

Yep, 6c. You can tell how cold it is because John, who doesn't really feel the cold, came back in and changed into warmer cycling clothes after getting his bike out of the garage. We're forecast a high of 14c tomorrow.
