Good Morning Saturday

Postby JanB » 14 Sep 2019, 06:36

Morning everyone

Sunny at the moment and quite warm. We are supposed to have a thunderstorm and rain this afternoon, but as the last two missed us, I'm not holding my breath

I'll be painting the house sign this morning, after sanding it down. Then a swim, depending on the weather.

Not sure what else we'll be doing, bits and bobs.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, a lovely morning here. I am in need of sleep, we had a power cut last night which woke me up after just an hour and it took me a long time to get back to sleep. Today I will be meeting up with Liz Smith and Glenny from Different Dimensions - Liz is in Belfast visiting Glenny and they are coming to Dublin for the day. I have not seen Liz since the last Brum Femail meet and have never met Glenny, so I’m sure there will be plenty of chat.

I got started on organizing packing yesterday, hope to get more done today at some stage, maybe even some ironing.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Enjoy your meeting Osc. My first ever meet was in Brum, back in the DM days many years ago now. Remember being very nervous, back then it was a bit of a step into the unknown, E was so concerned I might be meeting a lot of axe murderers (slight exaggeration lol) he came too!!! Needless to say neither of us should have worried, everyone made us feel so welcome we both thoroughly enjoyed it.

You have been busy Saundra, we're only just having brekkie

We're off into town this afternoon, need to collect an online order plus our prescriptions.

Have a good day :D

Have a lovely time Osc, please give my love to Liz and Glenny x

Tom took yesterday off as annual leave so we came to the caravan. Weather was fab yesterday but windy and cool today. We've had to bring Charlie as I can't leave him for 2 nights and Jen, who'd normally have him, is away in Croatia till Tuesday. It stresses me to bring him though.....

Have a great weekend all xxx

I’ve had a lovely time with Liz and Glenny, and I hope they enjoyed themselves too. It has been a beautiful sunny day so we were able to have lunch sitting outside (which is maybe just as well, the people in the restaurant didn’t have to hear our convoluted calculations over the bill    ) Liz sat there bemused when Glenny and I did that very Irish thing of finding out there is someone we both know :cute: I really enjoyed seeing Liz again and meeting Glenny for the first time, hopefully not the last.

Jen, I remember meeting you at that Brum meet, and E too. Liz and I were trying to remember when we last met, it was at the final Femail Brum meet where Irishmade organised the quiz. It is amazing to think that I went to the very first Brum meet in, I think, 2001, on my own  :o

Evening everyone :)

Osc, how lovely! Glad you had a good meet up :)

Usual Saturday stuff here - it's been a gorgeous, warm, late summer/early autumn day here, but there was frost on next food's car when B and I walked past at 8.15 this morning, in the way to the SW meeting  Brrrr!
