Cor berlmey, trust me

Postby JanB » 05 Oct 2019, 18:18

Got to the airport this afternoon, parked and started walking to the departures, chatting away.

Stoopid me, didn't notice a high kerb and went flying   Glasses flew off - Grumpy was quick enough to rescue them - and I just laid there, thinking, not again

Scraped my hands and knees and have some cuts on my toes, but nothing broken.

Just a tad sore, my right knee too most of the impact and I'm hobbling a little.

I've tried to say we need to go out for breakfast and dinner for a few nights, but that hasn't worked

Grumpy has had a good day, with a 3 hour round trip, enjoyed his curry and is now nodding ;)

Jan,hope you soon recover. Take things easy.
My wife always has a tub of Arnica gel handy.
It didn't help earlier this year when she fell near the bottom of the stairs in the house and broke her hip. She has made a good recovery after the
operation to fit a new hip.

Kerbs and I have a dislike of each other

A few years ago, I fell off a kerb and broke my left ankle and now have a plate and numerous screws holding it together.

Rather sore this morning. My right knee looks like a rugby ball and my left like a football

I'm mobile ish, but won't be doing a lot today
