Good Morning Monday

Morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning, although a tad noisy  Dogs, roosters and Molly

We're supposed to have some wet stuff at some point this afternoon, so the washing machine is on in the hope that we don't. Although would love some proper rain.

Cleaning to be done this morning, favas to be cooked later and roast chicken for tonight.

Busy, busy

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan, and everyone :)

It's dry here too thankfully, because I reckon if we get more rain like last week's Gloucester will flood :? :cute:

Going to town with B to meet Emma for a cuppa and a bit of shopping. Becky is using up annual leave with a few long weekends 8-) D rang earlier, her landline is playing up again, so Mick went round and it's sorted for now, but she'll have to get the engineer out again.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all, it's sunny here and we've had a heavy frost overnight.

Kaz, let's hope that there's no more rain. Stafford has flooded, we went yesterday and much of the town was cut off. Sainsbury's, near to where we usually park, was inaccessible and we parked in the 'Riverside' multi-storey although it was more like Riverinside as we drove past the ramp which goes down to the basement parking, that part was underwater. Homes and businesses have been affected :(

Tom's gone out to do some course work, he's on half term this week. I think he's meeting Shannon in Lichfield later for something to eat. Joe's at work, we won't see much of him this week as he's cat sitting on Wednesday and Thursday nights for Amanda's family, they're visiting Amanda until Friday and then he goes to see her for the weekend.

I'm feeling a bit 'meh'. John's Mom's staying on Thursday before driving to Norwich on Friday. She's then back on Sunday and is staying for a couple of days. She's invited herself. I always feel anxious when I know she's coming :?

Anyway, Becky next door's cleaner has just gone so I'd better go and see to Thumper, I'm looking after their rabbit this week while they're on holiday.

Have a good day all!

That's as much cleaning as I can do, as Molly has parked herself in the front bedroom and that means the vacuuming will have to wait

Rang my brother earlier, as it's his birthday. We normally only ring on birthdays and C word  But then chat for hours

Grumpy has decided to rake over all the flower beds, in preparation for the rain.

We've (make that me 8-) ) have decided to go down to the bar before dinner, don't know why, just fancy going out.

Cloudy but warm now.

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny, but a tad nippy.

Don't know what got into me, actually managed to get all the ironing done yesterday, just as well I only do it a couple of times a year, exhausting

Blue Wave later, looking forward to it.

Have a good day :D

Mor.... oops afternoon all. :D
It was cold and frosty this morning.
MrsC went to her dad's this morning to find he'd lost his house key. There's a drama every time.
At his relatives' MrsC's Uncle Jud is getting increasingly confused. He apparently spent all yesterday messing about with his penknife after breaking his hearing aid.
In a while I'll go and lop some conifers, until then I'm staying in the warm!
Have a good day all.

Good afternoon everybody,
It was frosty this morning. Had a brisk walk to the barbers fo a haircut. Was the first in at 9.00 a.m. Then walked to town for some shopping and caught the bus home. While we were having coffe got a phone call to say some trousers I was having shortened were ready to be picked up. So off out again
and stayed and had a chat with the friend who had done the sewing.
After lunch have just been pottering.
Will be up early on Tuesday as hairdresser is coming at *.00 a.m to do mrs.e's hair. Then on Wednesday I am taking my car in to the garage. The scren washer has stopped working. Have tried to fox it but it may need a new pump.
We have had rain but no flooding. Saw flooding in Nantwich which had new flood defences two years ago and a new road to Manchester airport has been
closed as it is flooded again. Do planners not know it rains in Manchester!!!

hello all

Well the working day is nearly over - another busy one. Was off on Friday as I helped Nadine with a hospital appointment and now catching up. It does make the day go faster but I do get home and just not in the mood for much more computer time; so apologies for not posting much recently.

Will try catch up with everyone's posts in the course of this afternoon when on the train home (if I can get signal that is :D )

dull and grey here and rather nippy this morning (first scraping of ice this season).

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone xxx

Afternoon all, it is a bank holiday here. We were up and out quite early as we wanted to do some shopping and I had a big charity bag of clothes to bring to TK Maxx. We got back around 3pm, we were almost home when Michael messaged to ask if he could come down and play some table tennis with Grandad, so he is here now but his mummy and daddy are collecting him shortly as they are going to SIL’s brother’s house for a Halloween party which will be fun for them all. We will just relax for the evening.
