I have 1/3 of a bag of sugar, a solid block, in the cupboard and I have no idea how old it is, but I do know the last 1/4 of my salt packet is from 2014, it says so on the lid.

I am a food angel me, with a freezer. Best before dates.... wot are they?

A bag of sugar lasts us many, many months here too!

I finally caught up with this episode, and was shocked by the complete lack of awareness of the damage their diet was inflicting. When the woman said her eyesight was being damaged, and her husband would probably end up in a wheelchair, but they still had a trolley full of sugar I was open-mouthed, but to be fair they did make a good effort in the end. I hope they have kept it up

Watched this tonight and what an eye-opener!

What people eat and the effect it can have on their health is incredible!

Rita (loved her ) was stuck in such a rut but really....being a nurse, knowing what it was doing to her health, her hubby on nearly 50 tablets a day and still they carried on.

I bet she's glad she wrote in for help and I was so happy to see how much better they looked after just one week.
