Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 30 Oct 2019, 06:04

Good morning.

Forecast gorgeous again. 8-) 8-)

Dad's had nothing but brilliant sunshine for 44 days so when I told him my cousin Ryan, who lives just 2kms from dad, had to scrape the ice of his car yesterday he was not amused.

A walk then a swim for me then over to dad's around 11. I'm going to pack for him, make him a couple of rolls then take him to the airport. I'm dreading him leaving as I've had the most wonderful time with him but knowing Michele will be waiting for him when he lands does make things that little easier.

I think for the rest of the day I'm going to park myself on the sofa!

Have a great day.

Thinking of Jackie, Charlotte and Amy as they lay Martin to rest today. xxxx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Misty stat again but oddly warm 8-) And another warm day forecast.

Safe journey to your dad Ally xx Glad Michele is there, rather than him going back to any empty house.

Normal Wednesday runaround. Pit stop at the bar for coffee on the way back. Will try the Centro de Saude again, for the flu jab.

Out for dinner tonight :Hi: :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Safe journey home to your dad, Ally. Thinking of Jackie and her girls today ((((((Hugs)))))) for everyone xx

Have a good one, Crommers :) Mick was going to do a tip run last Friday but we had torrential rain - maybe this weekend ;)

It's sunny here again :D Going to walk into town to make the most of it, then pop in to see D most likely, on the way home. Have some ironing to do later, so will need to find something good to watch on the player while I do it :cute:

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all, it's another chilly and sunny one here :D The grey clouds are, strangely, forecast to reappear at around the same as time John's Mom arrives tomorrow afternoon

Bill's had a long walk, the washing's on the line and I'm now waiting for a call from the local hospice charity shop to say that their van is on its way to pick up our old dining table and chairs. The Tesco delivery is due between 1 and 2. I've got to pop and see to Thumper the bunny next door in a minute.

Joe's gone to work and he's off cat sitting for Amanda's family for a couple of nights as they're visiting Amanda until Friday. He won't be back until Sunday night as he's then driving down to Falmouth straight from work on Friday for the weekend with her.

Tom's spent his half term working on an essay for his course and he's just gone out to do some more work on it. He got caught up in the rail chaos yesterday at New St. He needed to go into Birmingham to the library and the 30 minute train journey in ended up taking almost 3 hours yesterday morning, then most trains were cancelled coming for the rest of the day. Joe was inconvenienced too, he and his friends were going to see some rappers at the Institute in Digbeth and intended getting a train but had no luck and ended up driving in.

Thoughts are with Jackie and the girls today xx Safe journey to your Dad, Al xx

Have a good day all!

Good morning all, sunny and chilly here too with a string wind, the waves are breaking over the East Pier. I’ve been doing a few bits and pieces, and will be off to the gym for 11.30. After lunch, we’ll do the supermarket run.

The Tesco delivery came early, the table has been collected. The waiting is over....or so I thought for 2 minutes until a text came from Joe, informing me that he's got a parcel being delivered.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Safe flight to your dad Ally, it's lovely he will have Michele waiting for him.

We have a leak in our enclosed porch, it was put up by a conservatory company many years ago, looks like the seals need redoing. Our predecessor did leave all the paper work, but even if it was still in guarantee they went bust. I've rung a company that do repairs, but so far no reply, will try another one today.

Blue Wave for us this afternoon and that's about it.

Have a good day :D
