Morning Ally, morning everyone

Wet :Hi: Showers forecast for today, but looks like we're in the middle of a huge cloud  Quite warm though

Later than I had planned/wanted, we're heading off to Ourique as soon as Grumpy has had his coffee, as I have a blood and urine test this morning. As it's a fasting one, I'm gagging for water or coffee  no water since midnight ;) I'm being tested for literally everything, only went in to ask for a thyroid test, but hey ho

Then off to Castro Verde, to get money from the bank and to have breakfast and coffee. At least one, maybe two coffees

Over to Favela Nova to pay Denny's wife then back to pit-stop at the bar for more coffee and post check.

Will strip the bed when I get back, no point washing the sheets until later in the week, when we have dry weather.

Thinking of D and family this morning xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan and Ally. You must really need the rain Jan?
In a while MrsC is going to her dad's to do his dinner. We'll get his prescription on the way over.
Some bits and bats to get today then chicken pie for tea.
Another grey, damp, murky day here. Bears have got the right idea about November to March!
Have a good day all.

Morning all, a grey and damp day here too. Edward was up early to go for his B12 injection and has now headed off to play golf if the weather doesn't close in. I will be going to the gym, probably a cuppa in the cafe afterwards then back to do h/worky stuff. I also need to make a shopping list as I am going on a day’s C-word shopping tomorrow.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here.

Think we could be in for a cold spell, the birds are going mad for the berries on the bush at the bottom of our garden.

Blue Wave for us at 2, it will be our last session before we go away. Hoping the time off doesn't put me back too much.

Have a good day :D

I'm off work ill :( I rang for an appointment at the GPs and got in with the nurse practitioner at 10.30 - she sounded my chest and did all the usual BP check etc etc- it's a nasty virus of the upper respiratory tract and as it's viral she didn't give me ABs, just lots of rest, fluids and paracetamol. Sigh - I REALLY hope it doesn't last the potential 3 weeks she said it could!!! I've been housebound since I got home from work on Wednesday and not feeling any better up to now. I have too much to do to be poorly!! I even got the car out for the trip to the surgery - it's a ten minute walk!!

Started off quite nice here, but is much greyer and threatening to rain now.

Have a good Monday all - enjoy your last Blue Wave, Jen

Hope you feel better soon Gal xx

Bloods done, get the results back Wednesday :D, sorted out the on-line stuff, got the dosh, then headed for a large ham and cheese toastie. They're so big, we have to share one

Dropped the money off and then headed back into bright sunshine and blue sky, so decided to start our next project 8-) In t-shirts by the end of it, far too hot to be hauling huge lavenders out of the garden  But we're planning on planting some aloe veras and spikey plants down the bottom bank, in amongst the rest of the lavenders, by the fence. Should look good when finished, in a year or two, when the plants are established 8-)

Fire now lit and I'm still being good and it's my 4th day of no alcohol  8-)

Well done Jan. :)
Gal, that is such a pain for you. Don't try and do too much too soon though and make yourself worse.

Evening everyone :)

Thanks Ally xx

Gal, that's rotten :( I hope it clears up soon xx

I've been in town nearly all day. Had lunch in M&S with Em, Jaqui, J's daughter and beautiful baby grandson. 9 weeks old and utterly yummy, I had a lovely cuddle 8-) Shopping after that - yet more Christmassy bits - and finally Em and I got the bus home. She lives on the same bus route, just a mile further out.

We were going to Zumba tonight, but Em isn't feeling 100% plus it's belting down, so we're giving it a swerve  About to give D a ring to see how she's doing. I'm assuming she went to her usual exercise club today, as my call earlier went to voicemail, so she's probably feeling better. I'll be up there tomorrow as usual.

Love to all xxxx
