Oh yes, Jan, ham and cheese, especially with those processed cheese slices. Nom, nom, nom.

We had a posh toasting fork. It could be extended and it had 'legs' to make a tripod so that you didn't have to sit and hold it till the toast was done.

I've still got a toasting fork, haven't got a fire though :lol:

I use our George Foreman grill for toasties, we don't have anything that leaks out like beans so it works well. We've just had cheese and spring onion ones actually.

Left over roast lamb, with some roasted potatoes, kumera and pumpkin chopped up and then mint jelly smeared over. Yummy.
