Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely sunrise this morning, so should be a lovely, sunny day 8-)

Waiting for Nelson to arrive, if he does. No great panic, won't be using the pool for a while ;) I also have ironing to do and Grumpy will finish off putting hats on the fruit trees and other plants we know suffer with the frost. He's also putting scarfs on a few

Got the sniffles and sneezes this morning, something to do with the flu jab, probably

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

21 degrees sounds perfect Ally :D

Jan, I hope your sniffles clear up! I'm not 100% myself, I had a sore eye yesterday and now my sinuses are playing up! Am all dosed up so I'll be ok for shopping with D, but I'll be giving Pilates a swerve tonight as getting into positions will make it worse :?

Have a good day everyone, and have a great holiday Jen xxx

Good morning all, it’s still raining.

I’m waiting for a delivery from Amazon and doing housework in the meantime. Hopefully it’ll stop raining at some point so that I can walk Bill.

Kaz, I hope you’re feeling better soon. Tom seems to have a cold if the Lemsip and lozenges in his room are any proof. No surprise really as Shannon was complaining on social media at the end of last week that she was SO ill yet she still came, along with her germs, to stay for the weekend :?

Have a good day all!

Morning all, it’s a damp dreary day here again, what I wouldn't give for a nice frosty blue sky day, so fed up with the grey already. Usual Thursday, collecting Kellie at 1.30 and Michael will be here an hour later. Sausages and mash for dinner. I have a few bits and pieces to do before going up to the school.

Jo, I have been expecting something from Amazon which was supposed to arrive on Monday but there was no sign of it. Today I have clicked on the “Track your package” to see “We are sorry your package is late” and saying it is now expected by next Monday and to check back next Tuesday if I still don’t have it  I ordered something this week too, goodness only knows when it will arrive

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here

The porch peeps were a bit late arriving yesterday, but it's all done so let's hope it's properly water tight now.

Almost ready for the off, just last minute things to do, locking all the windows etc. We get picked up at 1pm and will be staying overnight at The Sofitel Gatwick. Our flight is 9.50 tomorrow morning, I've booked us into the No.1 lounge so we can relax and have a decent brekkie. The girls in the TUI shop advised us to use the airport assistance service our last two trips, we resisted but we've finally given in and arranged it. The walk to the departure gate can be very long so for the first time ever we'll be getting on a buggy. Tbh it's when we arrive at the other end we could really do with some help, the queue to get through passport control can be a long wait and neither of us are up to standing for any great time. The return from Turkey was a nightmare, it took nearly an hour to check in and we were both beyond sore by the time we got on the plane. Apparently having assistance means we bypass the queues, we'll see.

Have a good day :D

Thanks Saundra, so kind of you x

Kaz keep well, you deffo don't want what I've got!! Hope yours clears up soon x

Jen have a fab holiday, you do right sorting that extra bit of help at the airport, that's what its there for, you may as well take advantage x

Aquafit was cancelled which is good as it took the dilemma of whether or not to go out of my hands.....I'm still very unwell and coughing till I retch (nice) but I'm sick of the four walls....been in the house since I got home from work a week past Wednesday!! Furthest I've been is out to the bin, oh and the docs on Monday. Trying to decide if to go for a walk now that the rain has finally stopped, or will I get a coughing/retching fit ? Sigh. no I won't, it's raining again :?

Keep warm, and dry everyone xx

My first Amazon order arrived in the post about half an hour after my earlier post - one down, one to go! Jen, have a lovely holiday, nice to get away from this miserable weather. Saundra, I think Vick on the feet does work, I’ve done it once or twice.
