Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 03 Dec 2019, 06:45

Good morning.

Sunshiney clouds . It must have rained during the night but it looks nice enough now.

Two classes 9 - 11 then meeting my friend for my Tuesday coffee and pitufo.

Back to prepare some exams then classes 4 - 7.

Jacob's coming back over so we're going to meet up when I finish for a bite to eat. :)

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning, Not a cloud in the sky, but rather chilly at 7C

Washing machine on and Grumpy will be out on the back terrace, making the screen part above where the mozzie doors are going to go. I'll finish off the cleaning that I started the other day ;)

Will try and see Dra Ana this afternoon, I think she has an open afternoon, where you just turn up and wait. I'll check with the clinic beforehand. Will also see if I can get back on-line with our bank, now I have a new password.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all. Sadly another sad one for our family - it's been such a horrid last few months. Yesterday was my uncle's funeral (my mom's brother) and now this morning we received the news that his wife has passed away overnight. I really feel utterly sad and terrible for my mom - it's just to much now. Last year December her twin this year her brother, sister-in-law and a few months ago her nephew...

I can't really call her from work so will give her a ring when I get home this evening.

Wishing you all a good day and remember to hug those you love - life is so short and so precious x

Morning all :)

Ally, your day sounds good :) xx

Hope you get in to see the doc, Jan xx

Ria, I am so sorry  My sincere condolences to you and your family, and especially your poor mom
So often you hear of very elderly couples passing away like this, but it's terrible for those left behind. Wish I could give you a real hug ((((((x)))))) xxxxxx

Times like this Saundra I really do regret that we all live so far apart. My brother Frank lives in the same town and he popped in this morning and will pop in again after work so at least mom has someone there. But it just would be lovely if I could go round for that cuppa; it really would be x

I know that feeling Ria.

No doc, she's on holiday :o And I couldn't understand what the receptionist was saying was saying as to when she'd be back  I can understand the rest on the phone, just not her

It's like being in two different countries here. The front of the house is in full sun and in the sun it's 39C 8-) At the back, in the shade, it's 12C  Guess where Grumpy is working

Good evening all. So sorry Ria, that's such sad news xx

Off to the Odeon soon to see a Christmas movie - Die Hard (yes, it is a Christmas movie). I remember seeing it at the cinema back in the 80s  and it's got a one-off screening tonight.
