Morning Ally, Saundra and everyone

Sunny, clear sky but a little chilly at the moment.

This is forecast as the only dry day this week, so the washing machine is on and we're off to do our normal run around Ourique after breakfast. Pit stop at the bar on the way back for a coffee and to order double the amount of rolls for tomorrow, then nothing for two weeks, as he won't be here. Something to do with Christmas

As we had so much rain yesterday and more to come this week, Grumpy can vacuum and then back wash the pool, without worrying about losing too much water. Not his favourite job this time of year, but the bottom is black :o so it needs to be done.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's foggy here and it was frosty when I walked Billy earlier which was a relief because it meant the mud was semi-frozen

We actually had a day without rain yesterday :D

I've got the rest of the presents to wrap today and the 'family' cards to write. I've found Heart Christmas on the radio so that's currently blasting out David Bowie and Bing Crosby :)

Have a good day all!

Morning all

Well step 2 of 5 of my becoming British is done - I had my bio-metrics appointment this morning. Next is the letter confirming that my naturalisation application has been granted, then the ceremony and then finally the passport. The letter can take anything between 2 weeks and 6 months so now it's a case of waiting waiting waiting.

Usual work day today and then appointment for eyebrows this evening and that's about it for the day. Lots of tidying up to be done both here in the office and at home.

Have a lovely day all and enjoy all the bits and bobs everyone is up to. For most of us stay dry - Ally enjoy the sunshine for us :D

Afternoon all (just), it’s a pleasant day here and Edward has gone to play golf. I’m stuck in the house awaiting an Amazon parcel, why Edward couldn't wait until after Christmas for his One Pot is beyond me  considering our last one was lost in transit. Hopefully as this is big it won’t get lost but no update on the tracker since Sunday, even though Amazon say it will be delivered today - I am not hopeful :( So as I am stuck at home, I’ll get on with ironing, then when Edward gets home, I need to go to the post office. The postman just arrived with a gift from my nephew and his partner.....well, his partner sends it  and it is always a lovely calendar although I haven’t opened it yet. This evening is Michael’s school Christmas concert, then home to do more knitting.

Evening everyone :)

Busy day today - into town early, as I realised I didn't have a present for my friend R, and we're meeting up tomorrow! I bought a beautiful scented candle :) Then up to see D, as per :) Home to a pile of ironing, and sorting out clothes for the funeral on Thursday. I took the sparky red and gold polish off my nails, that I did for the WW lunch yesterday, and have replaced it with a plainer purple - it seemed more respectful.....

Ria, that's brilliant news!! :D :D

Love to all xxx
