Sunny and 20 degrees. Yesterday's promise of rain was rubbish. It showered till about noon and that was it.

Both boys stopped over last night and Don had the foresight to buy bacon and rolls so that's breakfast sorted once they surface.

A walk for me first.

Carre Four later as I want to get a few bits then Mercadona for food for tomorrow's yomp with David.

No doubt tonight will involve a visit to Jose's vodka emporium.

Still very wet, windy but not as bad as yesterday Warm though We've not had it anywhere as bad as up north, they've really had a battering.

So another day of doing not a lot. At least the wind is westerly, so we can watch English television (for what it's worth )

Supposed to be meeting Jan at the bar this afternoon, we'll see.

Also making samosas to go with the tandoori potatoes and the chicken curry for tonight.

Footie later - should be a very good match

Hope Cruiser wasn't on one of those ships that collided yesterday.

Had message from friend in oz very hot in Brisbane the fire there in Sydney are awfull

Morning all

Saundra, those fires are horrifying... just so awful. It's going to take years to recover from all the damage. The amount of flora and fauna that has been killed doesn't bear thinking about. And thoughts with the families of those that died these past few days. The fire fighters are fighting a losing battle it seems. If only we could send some of our rain over there; wouldn't that be amazing!

First load of washing on the go, various animals fed and I really should be getting on with doing a few things but enjoying just doing very little for a few minutes and watching the birds at the feeders
Off to a friends Christmas drinks party this evening - always good fun so looking forward to that
At some point this weekend I need to do the food shopping for Christmas Eve dinner and breakfasts whilst Frank (my brother) and his family are here but it's easy shopping so not worried too much. Oh and clean the house before they arrive tomorrow 5pm

Good morning all, it is fairly damp here with occasional bright spots but not raining. We are heading into town to go the Christmas market we missed the other day because of the weather and will have something to eat while out, hope the weather stays dry. Saundra, I think Cruiser cruises with Royal Caribbean, not Carnival, so he’ll be ok.
