Good morning Christmas Eve Tuesday

Postby Ally » 24 Dec 2019, 06:55

Good morning.

If it wasn't for the fact there is evidence galore it's Navidad I'd think it was summer such is the weather! 8-)

Another gorgeous day forecast and I'm off for a long walk.

Both boys are over today and we'll go out around 3pm for lunch and a few drinks. Everything, absolutely everything, will close by 7pm to allow all families to eat together tonight as it's the most important meal of the year.

I'm going to prep a prawn, chorizo, chilli tagliatelle favourite of ours and when we all get home this evening we'll eat and have a kitchen disco. :Hi:

The boys will stop over and we'll drop them at their respective houses tomorrow morning on our way to Nerja. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Gorgeous morning here too 8-)

Washing machine is on and I'll be making the desserts for tomorrow. They need to chill over night. I'll make eight, with a few spare, I think, just to be on the safe side

Will pop down to the bar later, need to check the post

Curry for dinner, as is our tradition 8-)

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all. It looks very damp outside.
In a while I'll make the stuffing for tomorrow. That and going for a paper are the only things to get the old adrenaline pumping today!
I do like the sound of your weather Ally. Is it not usually this good in December?
Have a great day everyone.

Crommers...our temps are usually 18 - 20/21 this time of year and very mild but this year it's definitely hotter.

Glad you mentioned curry Jan....you've reminded me to ring our favourite Nepalese restaurant and book a table for Christmas night. It's our tradition to have a curry crimbo night.

We are on the train into town for our traditional potter about, looking at the lights and soaking up atmosphere. It is a bit grey, dreary and damp but thankfully not raining. We’ve been out and bought all our veg etc. and the chef tells me he is quite organised ;) I’ve everything wrapped and ready to go so this evening I will be mainly doing my nails.

Morning all :)

Bright with occasional showers here.

Apparently it was madness in the supermarkets early yesterday, but by the time we got there around 1ish things were nice and calm. We were back home in about 30mins, in and out in really good time. Honestly you would think people need to stock up for over a month, it's only 2 days!!!

Well the plan was to have an easy day, but although I was very organised before we went off on holibobs and had already bought all the pressies, I still have to wrap the ones for Z and the boys. It's not a huge amount, but I'm not nearly as quick these days, if you hear a bit of swearing in the air, it's me

Hope you all have a good day :D
