Afternoon all, it is a beautiful day here too, we were out for a walk at 9am. We came back and did lots of prep for dinner, then after our showers we walked up to see Miss Osc and family. We exchanged presents, had a cuppa and chat, then they were off to visit friends who live around the corner for a drink, then back to have dinner in their house with SIL’s sister and her children. We will be eating at 4pm, my sister will be here sometime before then.

Afternoon all, and Merry Christmas :)

Thanks for the kind wishes, it's actually been a very good day so far :) We've had a fab meal (thanks Nectar points 8-) ), D came, Chris is here, and I've spoken to Harry who was about to go with his dad to his step-gran's for the day. My sister rang, and we had a nice chat 8-)

We're watching a film now, it's not very Christmassy - The Death Of Stalin - but it's pretty entertaining :?

Merry Christmas everybody.
We are at Labadee today. This is a private island ownwd by RCL. It has a long zip wire and other facilities. It has been raining so we have stayed on the ship.
Father Christmas has been with Presents for children under 16. There has been a carol service and midnight Mass. Lots of decorations including a big tree. Many passengers in costumes.
Going for lunch now.

We've had a lovely day and have just com inside, it's really quite warm out there 8-) 8-)

Roast leg of lamb (their own sheep and it was young, so very very tasty) and turkey crown, with shed loads of veg and the most gorgeous roast taters - goose fat 8-)

We've been talked into going there NYE too. Jan's family are coming over, and she wants us (me mostly, because we're from the same part of England) to be there. As it's going to be another lovely day and evening, Joquinha is doing a bbq and suckling pig :Hi: and I'll take my hot bean salads, by request :) :)

I was given a shawl, Alentejana style, so that's me toasty for the winter :Hi: Grumpy got a litre bottle of brandy

Fire lit, but back to normal tomorrow, it's not a holiday here.
