MrsC and her sister have both had the flu bug that is going around up here. They are sort of recovered but it keeps recurring.
Today they went to their dads.
Tonight MrsC was in bed for 7.30 - her sister was in bed before 7!
There are so many people who have had it, you wouldn't believe.

Something is doing the rounds, Cromwell. Everywhere I go I hear people with very dry coughs trying to 'get something of their chests' as though something has got stuck. It's like living in a sea lion colony - arkh, arkh.

A rant
On Wednesday I went to drs for an appointment with diabetec nurse for my B12 injection when I got there receptionist said haven't you got a letter your appointment has been cancelled
Turned out nurse was ill
So I have to make another appointment for next week
I was mad why couldn't they have rung me?? I received the letter today it,was dated the 6th posted the 7th and if received it just now the 9th
Plus it cost me £11 taxi gggrrr

Saundra, you are damned right to be mad and you should seek a refund for the taxi fare.

Weds, your appointment day, was the 8th so there was no chance at all of a letter dated the 6th and posted on the 7th would get to you in time for you to make changes. It is even more unacceptable as they have your phone number and could have (should have) called and confirmed that you were aware of the cancellation.

I would put in a claim...
