Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 14 Jan 2020, 06:51

Good morning.

Back home after the most wonderful weekend with dad, Michele and Craig. :D :D

Stepping off the plane last night into the warmth was just lovely.

Don & Jacob were waiting for me so at home I quickly unpacked my rucksack then we went for a catch up over a beer and pizza. :D :D

Forecast warm and sunny today.

Usual 2 classes this morning then classes 4 - 7.

This is the first I've been on VV since Friday so I hope everyone is doing ok.

Have a great day.

Happy Heavenly birthday to our lovely Di. xxxxx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cloudy this morning, much better than the frost  We might have a shower of rain later.

Bits and bobs inside for me. The mop can't get around the door frames, so I'll be using a knife or something, to scrape up the muck Grumpy will be continuing to work on the wood above the new windows. Very fiddly work, as it's angled and he has to get up and down the steps.

Think the fire will be lit a little earlier today, once he's poked the poles up there again, sounds as if the birds are building another nest  :cute:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Great to have you back, Ally :) I can just imagine how good that sunshine felt! :D  I often think of Di - happy heavenly birthday, to a much missed friend xxxx

Hope you get your bits and bobs done Jan - are you still needing rain? If so I hope it arrives, but if not I hope it doesn't! ;)

It's dry and grey here, not particularly cold. I have a bit of a tickle in my throat, but will just get on with it, take some But C and get some fresh air ;) Up to D's at lunchtime.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Yes Kaz, we need rain. And it's raining now, so I'm just off to sit on the back terrace and watch it  behind glass ;)

Morning all and happy Tuesday

Glad you had a good time Ally and I can so imagine the pleasure at stepping off that plane yesterday and feeling the warmth :D Feels like a long distant memory here. Admittedly we've not had a cold winter at all (yet; touch wood) but the dark and dull does start getting to me.

Jan, enjoy watching the rain through the windows - can't wait to see them for myself
Kaz, take it easy - and get some Echinacea as well if you can, oh and Zinc - those combined with the Vit C should hopefully keep things at bay. Enjoy the lunch later

Sort of normal work day today - boss is out all day and I need to leave at 3pm as I have a vet appointment later this evening.

Happy heavenly birthday to dearest Di - often in my thoughts as well x

Have a lovely day everyone and enjoy whatever it is you're up to

Happy rain watching Jan! I bet Molly's not too keen on it though. I'm glad you had a lovely weekend Ally. Kaz, definitely some redoxon or similar. Ria, I hope yhe cats are all ok.
Just dropped MrsC off at our daughters. They (and Eliza) are going shopping in town.
I need to get a lottery ticket and some foody bits so will also be off shortly.
A grey day here and a bit chilly.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all. It is dull, dark and drizzly here, windy too. Edward is going to have his Public Services card renewed this morning at our nearest social welfare office, then we will do the supermarket shop on the way home.

Morning all :D

Thank goodness the wind's dropped, no damage here, just a lot of loose leaves from the palm tree all over the garden. Don't think they'll be cleared any time soon!!

Glad you had a lovely weekend with your dad and sister Ally.

Are things working better with the carers for Mrs.C's father now Crommers?

Meeting a couple of the coffee ladies for lunch today, haven't seen them for quite some time so will probably have a lot to catch up with.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Touch wood Jen, yes. They seem to be a good firm. He tries emotionally blackmailing his daughters though. It doesn't work with MrsC but it does upset her sis, who is having problems with her boyfriend's health as well.
But yes, the idea to get the carers in and some meals ordered has been a life saver to be honest.

Glad it's working out well Crommers, looking after elderly relatives without help can be a nightmare.
