Thanks Jo, I missed that. My SC is 3l and that does enough for a family, John must eat like a (shire)horse. :lol: At nigh on £70 I think I'll just carry on with the gas ring and pans.

What I've noticed is that since I've been hardly been using the oven and hob, gas and electricity consumption has decreased quite a lot!

I do love my slow cooker use it 2/3times a week
Used to have a pressure cooker years ago loved that aswell
