It's our 30th wedding anniversary 6 April.

It's Don's 60th birthday June 11.

As a family we like to celebrate occasions (we are so Spanish  ) and plans are manically being made.

Don and I always thought we'd like to go to New York for his birthday.

Our boys had other ideas! No mum and dad. We want to be with you guys too. And after mum's passing it became even more important that we were all together.

I also realised I didn't want to be so far away from dad. :(

The upshot is......Don and I are going to our beloved Nerja on Sunday 5 April for 2 nights. :cute:

Dad will be here in Spain as he flies over Sunday 22 March. Bearing in mind I'm flying over the day before to collect him as sis and I don't want him travelling on his own. Michele and Mark are flying over in the afternoon of the 6th so dad won't be on his own whilst we are away. :D

They're staying for a week. :P :P

That week is Easter week and I'm on holiday so we'll get to spend lots of time together.

Next bit. Don's birthday. :D

All five of us. Don, myself, Craig, Jacob and Conor are going to Cork. Don and I are spending a week there , the boys for 4 days. We're booking an air BnB house and as Craig is coming over on the ferry we'll have his car as transport.. This will be in August as all boys will be off work.

Backtrack to me finishing the third Thursday in June.

I'm doing my usual flight to Birmingham, stay at Jackie's then go and see Ed in London.

I'll then get a flight to Glasgow and be with dad before Don joins me there and we fly to Cork.

Before that dad will have spent time in France with Michele then the two of them fly back to dad's a couple of days before I then join them.

And the last piece of the jigsaw and Don has no idea!!!! :D

Our 3 lads are clubbing together for us to have a 4 night stay in Rome! Somewhere Don has always wanted to visit. ( and me :cute: )

Oh...and just this very evening we've confirmed a visit to our friends in Arboleas weekend of 14 March. :D

That all sounds wonderful, and so very carefully planned :D
I can understand why you all want to be together and I do love to read about how you and Michele have arranged to spend time with your Dad throughout the year xx

Joe and Amanda are going to Rome at the end of May, it's somewhere I'd love to go too.
