Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 24 Jan 2020, 08:34

Good morning.

After loads of rain yesterday (desperately needed but why all in one day?? ) today is much better righter. :D

I've been for a quick run and now back to get ready to meet Jacob at 11 at Plaza Mayor. We're going to Ikea as he wants new bed linen and some picture frames for his walls. We'll have something to eat whilst there. :D

Homework club 4.30 - 6.30 then meeting Don and the gang for our usual Friday beers and tapas.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Foggy start again 8-) Showers are forecast for today. We had 5 minutes worth yesterday

As it turned out quite warm yesterday, I-ll do some washing and hope for the best

Skyping with a friend about 10.00, as long as the interwebby stays on, blasted thing keeps flicking off :cute: Then I have a pile of ironing to get through. Grumpy will carry on with his woodworkery :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Morning all and very happy Friday

Ally, glad you had some rain - not often we see that word in your posts
Kaz, enjoy whatever you and Mick end up doing; have a fab time. Re Ikea - agree re the meatballs; or their hot dogs- yum :D
Jan, hope the internet stays working; enjoy the natter. And I can't believe you've never been to an IKEA - I think you'd love it!

Indian for lunch today - can't wait. Then this evening am meant to be heading to a friends for dinner. But another friend was admitted to hospital yesterday; she was told she'd be released today but if not then I'll need to go past hers instead to let the dogs out - they live in opposite directions to where I live so whilst I could feasibly do both; it will just be a bit annoying and I'd rather do one or the other. I went last night and one was absolutely fine and bounced about; the other one wouldn't go out at all so suspect the dog walker that is coming in this morning will be doing a bit of a clean up in the kitchen.

Have a lovely day everyone and enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Good morning all, the fog's finally cleared after three days! It's still dull but at least it's not murky.

I've now lost my voice much to Joe's amusement  He's off to Cornwall after work, not sure what Tom's doing this weekend.

I need an Ikea trip, it's only 15 minutes away but I keep forgetting to suggest it. I bought a lamp for the downstairs living room from there before Christmas and want another for in the upstairs one as it's dimmable and gives out a lovely light
https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/taernaby-table-lamp-anthracite-black-20323891/ but, of course, I couldn't go in there and leave with just a lamp - it's impossible! At the very least it'd be a bag of frozen cinnamon rolls.

Have a good day all, I hope it dries up for your day out Kaz :)

Morning all, it looks to be quite a pleasant day out there and not too cold. We have daffodils on the verge of flowering, so early  Gym this morning and then into the cafe next door for lunch and chat with the other gym ladies. Edward is going to play golf. We are going dancing tonight.

Afternoon all :D

Dull and overcast here

Not a lot happening today, just the weekly washing, my ankle is a bit sore after our journey Wednesday and the shopping yesterday.

Hope you all have a good day :D
