Thank you all so much - such a fantastic day it was. A quick personal (and yes money rip off) ceremony that lasted all of 10 minutes; but led by two super lovely ladies from the Weybridge Civic Office. Lots of photo's and smiles later Nadine and I (now the two official Brits in the family) headed off for a celebratory lunch.

Now to get the perfect passport photo (is there such a thing?) and then get the passpport sorted.

But so so glad, despite my winging and moaning, that I've done this - it feels so incredibly right on every level and it's something I know I should have done eons ago. The UK is more home to me than any other country has been, and I truly am honoured to now be considered a bona fide citizen

You always were considered that by ever so many of us. Now all we have to do is get that accent sorted out and you'll fit right in. ;)

Get thysen oop north fer a while an we'll set thee on t' strait an narrow, or y' could go westward (Kaz) and not be understood by anyone. Your choice. :D
