Postby Ally » 20 Feb 2020, 06:32

Good morning.

Nice again. 8-)

Usual 2 classes, meeting a chum for coffee and pitufo then classes 4 - 7.

Meeting Don when I finish for a pre-weekend beer or two and a bite to eat.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning bit misty over the hills, down towards the Algarve.

Curry making and gardening for me. Not sure what's on Grumpy's list. A lick of paint on the garden shed would be good, if he has enough paint. We need more, as the pool wall is dreadful and the workshop needs another coat.

Apart from that, not a lot. Will look at the cauli's in the veg plot, freeze them, if they're ready.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two, morning everyone

Ally and Jan, enjoy your respective days - they sound a perfect combination of fun, busy and chill

Usual work day for me and may meet up with a friend for a quick drink after work. Was meant to visit a friend last night but cancelled; just too tired. It was lovely having a quiet evening at home. Watched DIY SOS - the big build; oh my goodness what a tear jerker that was and it never ceases to amaze me just how generous some people can be with time and material things.

Have a lovely day everyone and enjoy whatever it is you're up to. xxx

If you were shattered Ria you did the right thing by cancelling.
We are taking FiL to a GP's appointment soon. After that I'm not sure.
It is raining and chilly here but no wind yet.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it's another wet and windy one here.

It's been a productive morning so far though. A huge pile of ironing has been done and Joe asked me to see if I could sort out his wardrobe as it was at bursting point so that's done and there's a bag of worn out old t shirts which he hasn't worn for years that John will use to clean his bikes and a bag of young teenage boy clothing for the charity shop. I even found a pair of jeans that he was certain he'd lost  He'd only worn them once or twice so he'll be pleased.

Tom's just gone out, he's going into the university at Derby to do some work (his course is overseen by them and while they don't actually have to attend the uni they can go in and use the resources).

Ria, I think I'll watch that later.

I hope the GP appointment goes well Crommers.

Have a good day all :D

Hope the gp's appointment went well Crommers.

Been industrious this morning, done the prep for tonight's dinner, ,made a curry and also cleaned the chip pan - my least favourite job.

Grumpy's shoulder still hurting him, so I've told him to take the rest of the day off.

I'm just about to slap sunscreen on and head outside, it's a lovely spring morning

Thanks Jo and Jan. Bit of a waste of time really. MrsC has been worried about her dad's feet and ankles swelling up so made an appointment for 10.20am. it was after 11 when he got seen. Still, in some places you have to wait weeks for an appointment. They don't like to give them anything for water retention, which is what it was.
Absolutely foul day here now. The wind is getting up and freezing rain is lashing down. The heating is going on and that's me for the day! Bolognese for tea. :)

Jo - loved the bit about the "lost" jeans! Every parent of a young lad has been there.

Afternoon all. I woke during the night not feeling great, sore throat and neck and didn’t get back to sleep for ages. However we have the children today, (they are on midterm break) so needs must. I had booked into a stretching and flexibility class at the gym and thought about cancelling, but dosed myself with paracetamol and was glad I went. I had to drive Michael to the tennis club as he was playing in a tournament, then I collected him later. Kellie helped Edward with some baking. They both had a latish night last night as Kellie was dancing in her first ever ballet show and they were not home until almost 10.30. I had put Kellie’s hair up into the required bun earlier and she looked very cute - Michael said it was all very boring

Afternoon everyone :)

Doctor's appointment first thing, just for a meds review but something has been picked up so I have to go back this evening for blood tests  It clashes with Pilates, so I've had to cancel that as otherwise the next nurse's appointment they could give me is was March 3rd :? I will pop something on the Health board later.

Just got back from Sainsbury's with D, and having a cuppa before I pitch into the housework :)

Love to all :) xxx
