Talking of strimmers, decided to give the "lawn" a strim  The wild flowers are very pretty, but it looks a mess when they got too long. One half done and I've been bitten by something nasty and my arm has swollen up  Slapped a load of anti mozz on it, so should be okay.

Once I've finished the other half, I'll be heading straight for the shower

Afternoon all, I’m late on parade, had a very bad night last night. Went to bed really early as I hadn’t been feeling well all day yesterday (sore throat and glands slight temperature), went to sleep easily but then woke around 1am and never got back to sleep again :( only dozed. So I cancelled the gym this morning and went back to bed after breakfast. I only slept for about an hour but didn’t get up again until 12.30 - not feeling too bad thanks to paracetamol. I’m taking it easy for the rest of the day, just need to pop up to the shops for some fruit.

I hope you feel better soon Osc. Not being able to sleep would do me in. You too Jan; some of those Portugese insects sound a bit nasty!
We have been looking at rugs this morning.
We didn't buy one. Since then I've cooked a bolognese which we will freeze later. It's a handy thing to have in the freezer.
Eliza has been to the pictures today with her cousin George and auntie Louise.Dobby the dog has been to dog club with son-in-law Lee and met his friend Dexter. :)
Sunny but raining here atm with a chilly wind. We have recorded a couple of Thomas the tank engine and friends for Eliza when she comes tomorrow. :)
Have a nice day all.

Afternoon everyone :)

Have been out and about today, lots of walking as we're finally having a dry, albeit very windy, day 8-) I bought a new jumper in M&S because I hadn't yet used a 20% off Sparks offer. Walked up to D's then home.

Osc, I hope you feel better soon, not sleeping is awful! :(

Jen, I have my prescriptions electronically transferred to the pharmacy in Sainsbury's. It's so quick that after my 9.45am appointment yesterday it was ready to collect by 1pm after we'd finished our food shop 8-)

Brilliant news about the passport pick up Ria, so no need to hang around 8-)

You mind your back Jan, go easy (((x))) Saw the pics on FB, your "garden" is looking fantastic :D

Aw Crommers, our two love meeting up with their doggie pals :D Is rug-staring a "thing" in Yorkshire these days? :P

Jo, we've got "manky" towels too, in fact I have a load on right now, as B bathed our two this afternoon

Saundra, I've noticed the days getting a bit longer too :) xxx

"Waves to all" :) xxx

Hello everyone.

I've been so busy today, what with one thing or another, and only just found time to switch my computer on.

Hope you are all O.K

I'm jogging along quite well, and looking forward to a day's shopping in town tomorrow.
