I came out of the shop today and sitting in the car, MrsC smiled at me.
And I thought, "We're having kippers for tea".

Why is it that when people sing old folk songs they always put on what they think is a Cornish accent no matter how thick their normal every day accent is?

Scousers, Geordies, Glaswegians, Brummies - they all go Yokel. :roll:

I've never noticed that - perhaps it depends on where you live.
