We've just had the GNR up

Postby JanB » 29 Feb 2020, 20:29

 :o

One of next doors dogs jumped over the fence and ran at our lovely new neighbours and then me :o

So I rang next door - they've changed their phone numbers  what a surprise  and they were out anyway, as all the lights were off.

Rang the police and bless 'em out they came, having to stop in the bar first  with a couple of blokes from the local council.

By which time, the blasted dog had jumped back over :cute:

But they took us very seriously, spent a lot of time looking at the fencing and will see our neighbours tomorrow - and issue a fine, as the dog (s) shouldn't be able to access our property over the fence.

One of the police rang me, as they couldn't find us, so told them to go to the bar and Jose knew where we lived - so that will be all around the neighbourhood again, more problems with next door.

Grumpy needs a shotgun. Sort of joking but not by much. Aggressive dogs are no fun.

Yup. These are not Yorkies, King Charles' spaniels or Jack Russel terriers, they are big dogs, bigger than an Alsatian.

They are Pointer or Mastiff types and could do a lot of damage, or worse.

We have a borrowed air gun Crommers, not much use against a hefty dog.

Perhaps now that the Police are involved you will have some improvement in the situation.

About time too, I would say.
