I could only get a Bird's Eye bag of sweetcorn and peas for the freezer - never had them before.

On the bag it says 'Resealable Zip - DO NOT CUT'. OK I get those instructions, but how do I open it the first time? Found it! In very small letters near the edge is the order to 'Tear here'.

Tear - begin. Twist, pull, tug, pull, grab, pull some more! Nothing!. Try again! Give up. Get the scissors and cut across as near to the top as possible and there, just inside, is the resealable zip all in good nick. Fabbydoody, or not!

I much prefer the old bags where you just cut a corner off, pour out what you need, then scrunch the thing up and bung it back in the freezer. Simples.

I used the solar panel to charge up the tablet so I know that (charging) works if there are any blackouts because of you know what. It also works on my mobile. :D

The external Blu Ray / DVD works, so box sets are an option, and the TV dongle picks up loads of channels on Freeview so long as they keep broadcasting! I also charged up the solar lamp which is bright enough to read by and it lasted almost five hours.

This is one Luddite ( ;) Kaz) who is set.

I took an Amazon delivery in today for Jacob Saundra. It was easier to deliver here as opposed to the centre of Málaga.

Our doorbell rang. Young bloke shouts hola!!!!!

He left the parcel by our gate but instead of signing my name I had to tell him my NIE number which he scribbled down before scooting off in his van.
