I cannot get through to Sainsbury, that number just says sorry we are busy. There are no slots anywhere.

No worries we will just go shopping as usual. I don't know why they aren't having slots during the night. If people are self isolating they are not at work are they? Plus for the vulnerable most, like Luke, have staff during the night so that would work well for him

Hi Shell,

Have you considered something like gousto or hello fresh? My daughter is registered with both and uses both. I know they are blocking new applicants to protect supply to existing customers but it might be worth dropping them a mail.

I had an email from Tesco earlier and they’re taking on and quickly training 8000 new drivers and are working on increasing the number of delivery slots.
I spoke to the driver who brought our delivery today and said that I hoped they’d get a good bonus when this is over and he said that they’re getting one next month plus the colleague discount is being increased.

And talking of Tesco, my Dad was in there last Thursday and a member of staff approached him and asked him to wait where he was for a minute. She came back to him with a bag for life filled with various canned goods, teabags, hand wash, a couple of toilet rolls and some sweets and biscuits, and told him that the checkout staff would know that it was all free!
Wasn’t that a kind gesture?!

Suff that would be a good idea for many but Luke's diet is fairly child like and their dishes tend to be quite gourmet. Bit thank you for suggesting it
