Afternoon all :D

Bright and sunny right now, but we did have a brief flurry of snow earlier :?

Shame about your kitchen delivery Ria, but as this situation is bound to go on for quite a while, probably nicer for you not to be dodging boxes all the time.

Probably due to all those visitors who came to the seaside last weekend hav e a good day all by for now

I doubt many areas are clear now Saundra, things were manic round our harbour last week too.

Just starting our second week of paper deliveries, so far so good. The delivery charge is so reasonable we'll probably continue when all this is over.

Usual Sunday for us, not a lot happening lol I'll be cooking dinner later, roast chicken and veggies then raspberry blancmange and jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Shame about your kitchen Ria, but not surprising as

We have cases here too now, an elderly man died in GRH a few days ago, and one of the members of our SW group is just recovering. Harry is improving, but still coughing a bit when we spoke about an hour ago, and spending most of his time in bed.

Becky is at work, she went in with Holly who is on a similar shift pattern, but will need Mick to collect her this evening as Holly is working shorter hours.

Been to Sainsbury's, had to queue outside as they are limiting the numbers of customers in at one time. Got everything we needed, plus D's. Everyone being very calm and pleasant, and loo rolls and paracetamol were back on the shelves! :) No pasta though, but we have enough.

Got some washing on the line as it's a dry, sunny day, although cold and windy!

Take care, everyone xxxx

Good afternoon everyone. A bright but cold day, but pleasant sitting in the patio window when the sun makes an appearance from behind the scudding clouds ….

Sorry about your kitchen delivery, Meriad …. we were very lucky here in that we got our re-carpeting completed and a week's worth of interior painting done before the lockdown started.

I like the sound of those mince pies, Osc! :D Glad you got all your shopping OK, Kaz - it feels like a victory, doesn't it?

A bit on a duvet day today; we both felt very tired last night. We've had chicken pieces, stewed apple, fresh if elderly carrots, all lubricated down by a can of Campbells Condensed Celery Soup! A mugga tea accompanied by one rationed biscuit each upcoming at 3:30. Have done some of the clocks but need to do the cooker and microwave. As Cruiser said, out with the manuals!

We've had a lazy day here too, lie in this morning and then a nice Facetime call to my sister who must be going stir crazy on her own in that big house!

Tom's still determined to go to work tomorrow, I have tried to dissuade him but he says he is going. Blummin man!! If he gets the virus, that'll be it!! :?

Donna is much the same, although she did get up and go downstairs for a bit this afternoon, and was Facetiming Tom. Can't remember if I said, but her good friend Hayley passed away a couple of weeks ago, she had cervical cancer which spread, and it is her funeral on Tuesday. D was going to go and stand outside the crem but obvs now she can't, but one of their friends group is doing a Facebook live memoriam thing for Hayley so that all of her friends can join in, a sort of wake, if you will.

We have spent a good bit of this afternoon playing board/card games, The Chase which we had to adapt for 2 players and also our version of Trivial Pursuit!! Was a laugh! Tom just popped up to D's in the car to drop off Lewis's birthday card and saw them through the windows....so hard!!

Chicken breasts and veg on the go now for tea, we don't have a pudding per se but we do have some lemon drizzle cake left 8-)

Oh Ria what a shame about the kitchen!! Never mind it will get done one day and at least (I hope!) your current one is still usable?

Sun is out now after a grey day, it's gone very cold again!!
