I am sitting in the airport waiting for him. His plane has landed.

I know that people are losing friends and family to the virus, it is just so personal. Son #3 has taken over my parents shopping. They are both over 80.

Daughter #2 is isolating from her family due to her kidney issues. But she is in Canada. Nothing I can do.

I'm not someone who takes being helpless with good grace.

There's a lot on you at the moment Suff; a lot of stress coming all at the same time. I'm sorry about your niece.
Try and look after yourself, a lot of people seem to be depending on you but you need to be healthy yourself.

Thanks everyone. My son is home with us in France. I have some qualms about importing my son into a small town in France where, as far as I know, there is no Covid-19. Then again we dropped right into isolation and will remain there. Sorry for Mrs S who is going to have to do all the grunt work of food and housework for both of us. I will try to make that as minimal as possible.

I arrived back with a sore throat. Pretty sure it is just hoarse though, it dried in the drive overnight and then we talked all the way home. Drinks were limited so it kept drying.

We will cope with this one way or another. I just hope everyone else is safe and well. Sleep is dictated. I've driven nearly 1,000km today. Only bonus was not a single Gendarme control on the roads and only the one check in the airport.
