Morning all......unlike Ria only almost

Bright and sunny here at the moment 8-)

Safe drive home with your son Suff, you've certainly had to work really hard to make this happen.
Not sure what's happening with our garden waste Ossie, we didn't get a collection last Wednesday, but nothing to say the service has been stopped.
Very sensible to rest your back Jan.
Crommers our local FB page is quite firmly managed, all unpleasant posts are quickly taken down.

Still trying to get through to BA for our refund, you can only do it over the phone and as you can guess they're constantly busy. Airbnb's automatic refunds only cover flights leaving up to and including 14 April the day before we were due to fly. They said they are encouraging their hosts to offer full refunds, but we had to approach her to see if she would be agreeable. Lavern was lovely and said go ahead and cancel I'll sanction it which she did and we've had notification from airbnb confirming we will be refunded in full. Obviously we would much prefer to be travelling, but at least we won't be out of pocket and hopefully we'll be fit enough to plan another trip when this is all over.

Absolutely nothing much happening here, expecting Boots with my prescription this afternoon and that's as exciting as it gets

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Well Tom has gone back to work this morning. He rang me at 8 to ask what groceries we needed, they had nothing in workwise and he was bored!! So he got the shopping and when he brought them home, said he was staying as there was nothing in! You don't say??? He's going in again tomorrow as he thinks he'll be on a different run....but I can't think anyone will want to go anywhere. Since he got home, he's gone back to bed to catch up some sleep!!! I am so upset that he has gone 'out into the germ laden world' again, at least being in our own little bubble at home is safe. I hate that he has to go to work, am I wrong? I now feel very Unsafe :( .

Lewis is 11 today, his mum is poorly and he can't see his friends....some birthday :(

It's sunny and cool here but not as cold as yesterday's greyness.....hope you all find things to do today, I had a dance round the room to Radio 2 this morning.

Ria I have been wiping all the handles in the house with Zoflora every day, I never realised how many handles there are in my kitchen!!!

Take care everyone xxx

Currently very annoyed. Incoming voicemail message on the mobile. Didn't recognize it, but because it was a local number, I retrieved it to listen to it.

Flippin' local estate agent, the one we bought the house off so they had the number, did we want to sell?

I've had to pay to retrieve that voicemail, it's extra on the charging plan. Cross isn't the word for it!

EDIT: Checked online help and it may be included in my monthly allowance, but it's not entirely clear … so partially mollified! :)

Jen, we just heard today that Cunard have cancelled all cruises up to and including 15th May - we’ve been waiting for this so we could apply for a full refund, now done. Our hotel in Southampton had already offered us the option of a refund a couple of weeks ago, also National Coach for a coach to Gatwick on our way home. I think our train ticket Gatwick/Southampton is non-refundable and now we are waiting for Ryanair to cancel. They tried to trick me into approving a schedule change for our outward flight, but I’m not having that.
