Good morning! Warmer and sunnier here, so Mrs O has been out on the garden bench. We're slightly adopting siege mentality at the moment and will be staying "on the premises" for the foreseeable until this virus has peaked; folk round here have not universally grasped the concept of social distancing and the rumour mill has it that 2 residents of the town have tested positive and been hospitalised ... :|

I'm taking the opportunity to declutter and shred old papers, which is a bit like painting the Forth Bridge.

Enjoy your lazy days and walks, folks!

Afternoon all, we are excitedly awaiting our first ever grocery delivery, life is rather limited at the moment so it doesn't take much  It is dry but chilly here. We were up on the terrace earlier, Edward was trimming the wisteria and I have a wash out on the line. I’ve dusted around while Edward made some nice biscuits, and we watched Anton du Beke’s dance class. I’ve also been chatting on WhatsApp with some school friends (one in Dublin, two in US and one in New Zealand) about a photo that one found of us all at a party back in 1969, we’ve been having fun trying to identify everyone.

I’m getting a bit annoyed at all the local over 70s passing by our house going for a walk, what part of staying in do they not understand

When will people realise the more they go out the longer we will all be in lockdown??? It annoys the hell out of me, there's us all doing our bit staying in and the few that go out are ruining it - do they WANT to be in lockdown all summer????

Aaaaaand breathe.....today we were meant to be going to my brother's for a family meet up, obvs that isn't happening now. Tom and I have had a lie in and then I've done a spot of laundry and pretty much read my kindle all afternoon. We took the dogs out earlier (our daily exercise) and are now in until tomorrow!

We got fish and chips last night for tea - the chipie at the top of our road was open...they were allowing only two in at a time, but when T got ours, there was only him in, and he paid contactless card - result! They were soooo yummy too!!

It's been grey and cold here today - waiting for the high teens we were promised tomorrow!
