Good morning everybody,
Will sort out the garden shed. Willl be able to get rid of some rubbish when the dump re-opens. Could get a small skip if there is a lot.

The sun is coming out and a warm day is forecast.
Ally, Good to see you are still around

Have a good day everybody

Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Another dull, grey but surprisingly warm day. Looks like we're in for another couple of weeks of this

Jose Felipe will be up sometime with this weeks eggs and I'm going to clean the garden room. Then I'll struggle. Might be able to get out and do some dead-heading, which is desperately needed. Ground too wet to weed, but it might be okay in certain places, well have to wait and see.

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all :)

Good luck with your clearing out Cruiser :) xxx

Jan, we've been lucky with eggs this past week, the shops seen to have plenty back in 8-) Fresh laid would be a treat though :) xxx

It's another beautiful day here, so I think we'll be spending some time out in the garden. I have some cleaning to do. Becky is working for the whole of Easter. I admit to a few tears after she went out this morning - one of the girls on the reception team has gone down with the virus :( I know vets are essential, but from things that B has said I don't know why they need such an amount of staff on. They seem to be allowing non-urgent stuff.......I know it's selfish, but I don't want to lose my girl for the sake of someone's pet rabbit :(

Stay safe everyone xxx

Kaz, what a worry for you. Morning Jan and Cruiser.
Our garden fence is in desperate need of a lick of paint. If it gets warm this weekend we might have a go.
We need some stamps and a chicken for Sunday, apart from that we are pretty well fixed. Anti bac wipes and spray are the things we can't get.
I hope Suff is OK, he's not been around for a few days.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Another glorious day here 8-)

Kaz what a worry for you xx

We're pretty well fixed for food too, expecting our Sainsbury delivery later this afternoon. So far no problem getting all the fresh stuff, eggs etc.

Planning to take advantage of this lovely weather and spend a nice easy day in the garden.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, it’s a lovely sunny one here.

I walked down to the little Tesco Express this morning after I’d got back with Bill, it’s about a 20 minute walk away, but after queuing to get in the shelves were pretty bare, there was no fruit, veg or bread whatsoever, so I ended up walking back and trying the Co-op in the village. I had a bit more luck there but the queueing system inside was shocking. Rather than clearing away the many promo baskets in the area at the front of the shop by the tills which is where it’d make sense to have a queue, they’ve directed the queue up one of the narrow aisles which spoils the flow around the shop.

Kaz, that’s such a worry :( Joe’s still working and I wish he wasn’t. I’m so glad he’s now got four days at home.

Crommers, Home Bargains here have had loads of Dettol antibacterial spray. I thought it was a one-off when I was in two weeks ago but they had loads this week when I was in too.

Please stay safe everyone. Much love to you all xx

More sunshine than clouds and rather warm 8-)

That's a bit daft, I would have thought Kaz? and I can understand your worry. All the vets here are closed, except for emergencies and you have to ring.

Been weeding   Got washing out and Grumpy has cleaned the pool. Also skyped with a friend back in England.

Take care over there xx

The vets we used is closed to non-emergencies too, Jan. They’ve posted on Facebook that you need to call once on the car park and wait there until they call you to go in once the previous pet and owner have left.

Afternoon everyone, it’s a pleasant enough day here but not as sunny as recently, still very nice to sit out and read though. We got a lovely surprise this morning, a delivery of beautiful flowers from Miss Osc. She is due to bring us some shopping at some stage later on, a few things we didn’t get with yesterday’s grocery delivery. No flour and oddly enough, no eggs or hot cross buns. Edward has just made a batch of hot cross muffins instead! I’ve done my exercises, a few bits and pieces around the house, sat out reading for a while before lunch. I’ve started washing winter fleeces and sweatshirts to put away and may go up into to attic later to take down some more spring-like clothes.
