Morning Ally, morning all

lovely sunny morning with blue skies as well; promising to be another perfect day. Have a call with Ikea at 10h30 today to reorder my kitchen :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: and then off to the farm supply store again to pick up some topsoil and hedgehog food. This afternoon back to the allotment for more weeding

The rest of the day will be the usual nondescript pootling about achieving not very much

Have a lovely day all x

Morning everyone

Grey, wet and rather windy  We were on yellow alert yesterday and they were right  but it's lasting longer than it should. Think we're getting tomorrows weather this morning

Was expecting a rather wet puss cat to come in this morning - it hammered down as soon as she went out this morning, but she's just come back in, very vocal   but dry.

Too wet to do anything outside, so another day doing not a lot inside. We'll finish that jigsaw today, only about 100 pieces left :?

Chicken stir fry for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

I have a trip to the Co-op Ally, it's about as exciting as it gets here ;) xxx

Ria, that's great news about IKEA 8-) :D xxx

Saundra, it's sunny here too. Have a ((((hug)))) xxx

Jan, more rain? Enjoy your jigsaw xxx

I'm off out to pick up some bits for D, then drop them up to her. It's a longish walk, in a big circle, so I will certainly get my steps in today, especially as I'm just about to start an extra zumba class :?

Take care everyone, stay safe :) xxx

Morning all. On fb last night someone who works at Pontefract hospital put out an appeal for ppe. I ordered some disposable gloves a while since (took ages to come) so they can have some of those. I'm dropping them off at 1pm.
A bright morning here but chilly atm.
Same old same old. MrsC and sis to their dad's and we need to drop some food off at MrsC's rellies at Streethouse. Our next doorneighbour Kath is feeling the strain of lockdown a bit so sil has told her to come round, sit in the sun and have a socially distanced natter when she wants.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Glad you're getting your kitchen sorted Ria.

One of the coffee ladies knocked on our door this morning, she was trying to deliver flowers to my neighbour two doors up. Jill's father died last night, he's been in hopital for some time and moved to a nursing home a couple of weeks ago. Of course she and her mother weren't able to visit. Very hard to lose someone at any time, even harder when you can't be with them  She's not home at the moment, probably comforting her mother and sorting all the things you need to do at times like this.

Yesterday decided to make a start on the shredding, it's amazing how many bits of paper, bills, statements, receipts I manage to accumulate. More to do this afternoon, that's how exciting my life is right now

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, it’s a lovely day here.

I walked Billy first thing and had the pleasure of seeing a horse and rider galloping along the adjacent path to us in the woods. They did look to be enjoying themselves :) After dropping Bill back at home and feeding him, I went straight down to town. I had some cash to pay into the bank for Joe, he’d accumulated it over time and had quite an amount but obviously can’t easily spend cash now so wanted it in his account for any card payments he may do. The hours at his bank don’t work for him at the moment so I said I’d pay it into our account and transfer it over to him. Barclays were allowing in one person using the counter and one at the machine so I was able to jump the queue to get in as the three people ahead of me were all needing to use the counter but I could pay notes into the machine so was let in before them. Then it was just to Home Bargains for some toiletries and cleaning materials and biscuits for Bill before heading home.
All in all, I’ve walked just over 8 miles so far today.

It’s so odd though, I’d normally go shopping a couple of times a week, Stafford one day and Cannock another, but now it’s just a walk down to Cannock once a fortnight.

Ria, that’s good news!

Much love to you all xxx

Afternoon all, it is lovely and sunny here but still that strong cold easterly breeze. I had a very nice walk earlier on, we didn’t go out together as we were awaiting delivery of an order from Boots, which has just arrived. Also, I got some good news - a letter from my consultant telling me that I don’t need to have chemo :Hi: I am being referred for radiation therapy which is fine. I’m trying to track my Debenhams order but their tracker on their website seems to not be working, it keeps telling me that I am not connected to the internet  I’ve emailed them, but not too hopeful of a reply.
