They’re an intelligent couple and really should know better. And anyway, surely they could manage to clean the house between them with all of this spare time we've all got on our hands.

I was feeling guilty about going for two walks with Billy yesterday, usually I do the morning walk and John takes him in the evening but he’s hurt his leg (John, not Bill) so couldn’t manage it last night. Tom had been for a walk in the afternoon and Joe had gone out for a run straight after getting home from work. Bill was pacing around after dinner as he was expecting his walk and a change of routine affects his stomach which sometimes requires a vet visit which I’m keen to avoid, so I ended up taking him again....I went off the beaten track and didn’t see a soul, but I did see a beautiful sunset which did me a world of good.

Frank, that did make me laugh :D

I know of someone that was having a big birthday; so because they couldn't have a proper party all the neighbours (they live in a cul de sac and all get on really well) came out to their front drives (so well over the required 2m apart) to sing happy birthday and they each had a little snack / drink with them (so no different to the weekly NHS clapping); out no more than about 20 mins or so.... however ex-husband of said party person who lives just up the road with now new partner (he left her) heard about it via their children so called the cops. They turned up 3 hours later to an empty street. What a waste of police time and needless to say already unpopular ex is now VERY unpopular.

Jo, why not go for that 2nd walk - it's not as though you're going to encounter anyone or touch anything?
