Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey again  A thunderstorm is forecast. It was yesterday too, but we didn't get it  And forecast for tomorrow

Housework this morning, Grumpy is going to gentle pootle with wood and work out how to change the bathroom window. At the moment, it opens inwards :? and I crack my head on it  So he's changing it for the one that was in the second bedroom. Sometime or other.

I might even be able to get him out for a walk. We went down the bin the other day - great excitement  - and had a look at a coupe of ruins near by. As he's normally driving, we had to stop every few steps, for him to look at things

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Still sunny but there is a cool breeze when I walked for the paper.
Will steam clean the kitchen floor this morning. Then just pootling.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning all and happy Saturday - a lovely start to the morning again and I'm planning on spending the day outside as much as I can. Morrisons have delivered the food - only three substitutions; one was regular Morrisons own brand tortilla wraps for WeightWatchers ones - wonder what they're trying to tell me

Ally, enjoy your 'ing day
Cruiser; the mornings still do that that nip in the air don't they. Tonight they're expecting temperatures to drop right down to 2 degrees again. In a way I'm glad I was late with getting veg seeds sown, like this they'll be a perfect size by the time the night temps are settled enough for things to be planted out; and not take up too much space in the greenhouse in the meantime.

Jan, it does make such a difference when walking vs driving - you just see so much more. Even being a passenger in a car along a route you always drive makes a difference.

Well as said, outside day for me with the plants

Have a lovely day all xxx

Good morning all. Don't knock the bin trip Jan, a bit of adrenaline is good for you! :)
A cool breeze here too Cruiser, unlike where Ally is I bet. Ria, enjoy your plant based day!
A branch has fallen off one of the big trees opposite onto sister in law's drive. She won't be happy about that. About eighteen months since one fell off the same tree in high winds and just missed Sergio. It was so thick it would have hospitalised him for sure.
Today holds the same old same old. Not much sun as yet so sitting out isn't really an option.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it’s now brightening up here after a cool and misty start.

I walked Billy first thing, or rather he walked me. I just let him off his lead and follow behind, he took me on a right mystery tour this morning. We didn’t see many people around, and those we did see were far off in the distance. It’s certainly been quieter the last few mornings.

Not sure what to do today, I get bored sitting outside at the best of times so that’s not an option.

Crommers, that tree doesn’t sound very safe at all :?

Much love to all xx

Morning all :D

Dull and a bit grey here.

Not a lot happening here, got some washing on and plan to do more paperwork sorting. Most of the files are bursting, some things go back to 2017, so there's bound to be more for the shredder.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon everyone :)

It was the SW virtual meeting first thing - B got Slimmer Of The Week and Slimmer Of The Month :D - then M and I nipped out in the car to get milk and a newspaper, and to see if the Co-op had the plain flour that D was desperate for ( success!) :D

While we were out Fraggle was a Very Good Boy! Mick accidentally left our back gate open, and the dogs got out  Becky realised they were gone, and rushed out looking for them, only to spy Fraggle patiently waiting for her on the corner - no sign of Pepper, but Fraggle led her to where Pepper was! Right around the back, round a few corners! Goodness knows how long it would have taken to find her otherwise! He's had a treat, and a lot of fuss :D :D

Good afternoon, all! Brightening up a bit here.

Glad you managed to corrall the dogs OK, Kaz! 8-)
Jan, we drove round to the post box the other day, purely for Mrs O "to keep her hand in" as she hasn't driven the car for well over a month! And we could do with a thunderstorm ....

Saturday is Baking Day and we've just completed our latest batch of rock cakes. Ossie had a minor disaster measuring out the caster sugar (we'd been finishing off an ancient bag of granulated sugar before today, and my excuse is it sort of poured differently  ) and as a result, the cakes are, shall we say, slightly sweet! I remarked to Mrs O this is the first time in our marriage we've actually had a pantry shelf dedicated to baking ingredients - how times change …. :)

I'll go down to the supermarket later, around 4:00, as we've built up quite a shopping list of various eclectic items we could do with. I'll probably get 2 of everything as the lockdown isn't going to be ending anytime soon, and I'm trying to limit major shopping trips to roughly every fortnight or so. Master O's car has died on him, so I've had to wire him some dosh to help fund a replacement. Not a lot, mind you, otherwise he's probably have his sights on a second-hand Alfa Romeo ...

Have a good day, everyone!
