We have post :Hi: :Hi:

We have water filters :Hi: :Hi:

Everything takes such a long time now, doesn't it?

Queue outside to get in Alentejana to get water and charcoal, queue outside to get into see Nelson. First time we've seen him since his dad died and his wife is now helping him. She's a hairdresser, so no work for here yet.

Queue outside post office. At least I had a chat with Jan

Queue outside Pingo. Manic in there, for some reason. Only two check-outs open :cute: so huge queues to get out too :cute: Then as soon as I'd put all my stuff on the belt, they opened two more :cute: :cute:   Couldn't get everything I wanted, so will go back on Sunday and get the bulky stuff, hopefully.

Got petrol for the strimmers, for the next lot of strimming.

Washing machine on, will get changed into work stuff and do some weeding. Will need sun-cream, as it's rather warm out there 8-)

Glad the phone call was good for us Osc, hope you don't have to wait too long xx

Osc, that is good news xxx

Jo, I write mine and D's lists out in store order, as I try very hard not to have to go back for missed items :? Glad it was ok, and no queue. I doubt I'll be that lucky tomorrow

I'm having a pootle day too really, Jen, in between bouts of cleaning and the dreaded ironing :cute:

It's all queues here too Jan, but I'm glad you nearly got everything 8-)

I had planned not going in for a couple of weeks, but just had a text from the Centro de Saude with a prescription. As we've not requested one, we're perplexed, so will go in next week.

Clouded over now, but we got a load of weeding done.

I always make a weekly menu and although I don't stick to it, I have enough in the house to change stuff, if we feel like having something different.

Also noticed there were a lot more cars and people around :?

Hi all, cloudy and cool here but I have been busy this morning with a craft project, so that kept me busy for an hour, then I ran out of glue so I'll have to use regular glue rather than from my glue gun (not used one before, has anyone else?. Bit disappointed tbh)

I was quite cosy in the conservatory with a heater on and my crossword puzzle and I'd been whatsapping my work pals group, when I decided I'd go out for a walk before the rain started - I'd JUST walked into my street when I felt the first drops so well timed! Was tempted to pop the heating on before I went out, so different to Monday when all I had on was a vest top and a cardi wrapped round my middle - today it was scarf, long sleeve T shirt, AND a cardi and padded jacket!

Got to think of what to make for tea now..

Good news Osc, this way it's out of the way quicker x
