Hot and sunny.

I can't believe it was 8 weeks ago today I was last at work. How incredibly quickly time has gone!

Lockdown lessening now includes from Monday those living in the same household will be able to travel together in a car. It's been 9 weeks since Don and I went anywhere together so a coastal walk next week was quickly agreed.

It also means family members can now visit so a week tomorrow the twins are coming over. I could pop right now at the thought of getting a hug from them. Even though we Zoom and WhatsApp loads nothing will beat seeing them in person.

Incredible to think a virus has prevented families from being together.

Trainers are on for a run leaving shortly. Perfect before it gets too hot.

Reading in the shade this afternoon.

A bit cloudy and rather cool this morning, but will warm up later.

Grumpy will strim this morning, I have washing on the go, due to faulty back plates and I'll be ringing the centro de saude later and speak to Dr Paulo. If not, then I'll head in to see him and get another prescription. If he can do it over the phone, so much the better, but I'll still have to go in to the chemist. Such a palaver

If it stays cloudy, I can get some weeding done. But a swim again this afternoon, before the rain and thunderstorms for the next few days. Won't see me in the pool then, too cold

Looked at our ex local paper earlier, so glad we're here and not in Chipping Sodbury. Fights, six deaths due to the virus, more fights, break-ins.

Tried to order some plants for the garden but they wouldn't be delivered till June.

Morning all. The virus isn't going to keep families apart much longer Ally imo.

Looked at our ex local paper earlier, so glad we're here and not in Chipping Sodbury. Fights, six deaths due to the virus, more fights, break-ins.

That's unusual Jan; round here crime has tailed off a lot. Lee says most of his work is "corona calls". People having parties, their neighbours calling the police on them and the police shutting the party down.

Nice morning here but it has clouded up a bit. MrsC and her sister are off on the dad run shortly. Their dad fell yesterday unfortunately he wasn't on the roof at the time (joke).
I'll be batch cooking a bolognese later. MrsC has got the front of the house trimmed up for VE day and will be having tea and a bun at 3 pm.

Morning all, it is a gorgeous day here, Edward says it is already getting too hot on our terrace. He went for a walk before breakfast, but I wanted to wash my hair so didn’t go. This morning I’m going to do some exercising - our gym owner sent us Silver Sneakers a video to follow so I’ll give it a go. This afternoon, Edward is going with Michael to the nearby closed down golf course to hit a few golf balls, and they’ll kick a football around too. I’ll go along for the walk. We are ordering takeout for dinner this evening.

Morning all........almost

Not quite as bright today, but still nice and warm.

Washing day, I've stripped the bed and the machine is on the go. Oh the excitement, we're expecting our Sainsbury delivery later this afternoon, looks like everything's in stock. Not much else happening, general pootling and that's about it.
