Oh thanks for asking Crommers - he seems a lot better thank you, doing those cute little chirrups at me when I got up, and running down to be fed - still sleepy in the day but less so than yesterday
Glad you seem to have caught Pepper's problem before it got worse Kaz! xx
It IS horrible to think SD will be around for good. Was just texting my Aqua friend Anne yesterday and she said the same, we may never get to do another aqua class
but worse, we won't be able to see one another for ages! Although PERHAPS if the cafes re-open for outdoor drinks, we can meet up then....at a distance of course
Sobering.
It's bright here and cool. We've both been busy in the garden, since our garden refuse has FINALLY been collected and the bin is empty again, we can prune and cut back to our hearts' delight - so we did! Tom went to borrow a longer hedge trimmer as ours is a regular length but the conifers are tall....we filled the bin again
Other than that - not a lot. I cleaned my back door well and painted the threshold, rather the inside skirting bit...and that's all. I've been crosswording and reading since - and I've managed to get a click and collect for Tuesday at our nearby Asda!!
Taken ages as it's a while since I have been on the site, but yayyyy!!!
Saundra that's awful - I really don't think people should be allowed to go to the coast. I know we love it and have missed it terribly but I'm certainly not going to go, not for a long while. A friend of mine who lives in Weardale (beautiful countryside) has been on FB saying there were 25 cars passed her on the way to Tunstall Reservoir, which is a beauty spot near her, she's been walking there most days as part of her daily exercise, in total solitude - until today.
It's not right.
Hugs for those feeling down - it's only natural as things change so much, but nasty all the same (((((((((((((((((())))))))))))))
