If this is what the 'supposedly' hottest day of the year feels like then I don't want to be around for the coldest.

It is struggling to get above 16°C and the wind is making it feel much colder.

I envy you! Our water butt is virtually empty and no hint of rain in the local forecast apart from a brief shower early on Friday.

This wasn’t forecast but it started at around 7pm when we walked Bill, was still raining at 9 when I went for a run and was pouring down I went to bed at 2!
Couldn’t tell when I went out at 7 the next morning.

I’ve dried two loads of washing today. Heavy stuff too like jeans and bath towels. Even the jeans were fully dried when I checked 90 minutes later
I’ll iron tomorrow when it’s a bit cooler.
