Postby Ally » 21 May 2020, 06:15

Good morning.

Very hot already so I'm off for my run now otherwise it's too horridly hot to enjoy it.

A lazy afternoon with my book by the pool will do me nicely. 8-)

Marigold hotel thingy tonight. Really enjoying it. :D

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Just a little chilly this morning, lovely. Going to be rather warm later 8-)

Done the first watering of the summer earlier  and noticed that idiot next door hadn't done his measuring correctly for the fencing and he's about 3 feet short  :cute:

Will sit on the drive for a couple of hours this morning, getting rid of weeds, then a dip, then a quiet afternoon reading.

Hope E is feeling better Jen x

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning Al, enjoy your run :)

Jan, that's funny about the neighbour's fence :P :cute:

It's sunny here, and today is my Sainsbury's day, which is about as exciting as it gets lately ;) Little bit concerned about Pepper, her back legs are a bit weak, so she's booked into the vets this afternoon. Fingers crossed it isn't a recurrence of that embolism problem she had a year or so back :? :(

Take care everyone xxx

I hope Pepper is ok Kaz. I know what you mean about excitement. Jan, your neighbour's talents know no bounds! Ally, I like that show too.
The toddling terror is here today. She is in the terrible twos now and is a bit grumpy.
Warm out but cloudy and it has just started to rain. Only a few spots though. The fishmonger is coming today so some cash will go from the wallet.
Have a good day all. :)

The heat has beaten me 8-)

Too hot just to sit out in it, even with my hat on, so in the shade now. Will try weeding under the tree later, I can cope with the heat when I'm not in the sun.

Meant to say earlier, hope Osc is okay this morning xx

I’m fine thank you, slept well last night.

Morning all, another beautiful day here and I’ve already been for my treatment. Now we are waiting for our supermarket delivery. I think Edward and Michael are footballing and golfing again later and I’ll get out for a walk. I did all the ironing yesterday, so don’t have to worry about it for a while.

Morning all :D

Another glorious sunny day 8-)

Glad you had a good night Osc.

Wonder how many of those crowding the beaches yesterday are complaining about it being unsafe to go back to work or to send their children back to school. The more people ignore the guidelines the longer this goes on, makes me a bit cross

We're venturing out in the car today, I need to pop some cards in the postbox as both our girls celebrate their wedding anniversary next week. Luckily I stocked up on cards before lockdown, but this will be the last of them. Will probably have to use Moonpig until I get to the shops again. We won't be going far, but thought it would be nice to drive over to the other side of town so that we can drive along by the harbour on the way back. If it's really quiet we might even get a little walk along the cliff top, just 200 yards or so, E's still taking it easy, but it would be good for him to get a bit of movement. Tbh even if we just sit and enjoy the view it will be a treat. We'll spend the rest of the day making the most of this weather and sit in the garden.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Good afternoon all, it’s sunny and warm here again.

I had a long walk early on with Bill and incorporated a walk to the post box into it on the way home. I’ve ironed, cleaned the bathrooms and hoovered all through since getting home. John’s having an admin day, being the only one still working in his department has meant that things like that have had to be ignored until they could be ignored no longer. Tom and Joe are both doing coursework.

Kaz, fingers crossed for Pepper xx

Oh heck Crommers, you’re really up against it - good luck

Jen, can you believe how utterly stupid people are?

Take care everyone, much love to you all xx
