Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 26 May 2020, 05:15

Good morning.

Hot. 8-)

Off in a mo for a run then back for a swim and a coffee.

Mid morning we're going to drive (still ecstatic we can do this  ) to Playamar, park up the car and have a stroll along the sea front.
We'll then climb the 102 steps up to Calle San Miguel and pop into Dealz. We need salad cream.

Chicken salad for tea and the A Word (Don reckons I love it because of Christopher Eccleston but that's just not true :P  ) tonight.

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Rather warm here too 8-)

Done the watering and I have ironing to do, but that will be later. I'd like to get out before it gets too hot, to do some weeding.

Other than that, not a lot.

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all

Ally, enjoy the walk along the sea front; sounds beautiful
Jan, hope you get all the things done you want to
Saundra, it's a beautiful day here as well. Makes everything so much better, doesn't it.

Well, what a lovely busy weekend that was - got loads done at the allotment and at home in the garden. I was at the allotment at 6.30am this morning to water as I wasn't able to get there yesterday and I'd planted up all my veg plants on Sunday. I had nightmares last night they'd all died but they were looking just fine. Have a 9.45am vet appointment for Eli, he's limping. He was on Sunday as well so I gave him some pain relief and Monday he was totally fine. But woke up this morning and it's worse that it was Sunday so off we go.... sigh

Not much else going on - another ususal/usual work at home kind of day. Tell you what, I'm really really going to struggle when it's all back to full time work in London.

Have a lovely day all

Morning all, another gorgeous one here. Edward is playing golf so I will drop him up to the club at around 10.30. My own appointment is 1.30 so I’ll get home around 2.30 and get out for a walk then. Just need to sort some laundry, I should iron but possibly won’t ;)

There's always tomorrow for ironing Osc.
Just back from Sainsbury's. No queue to get in, well stocked but as ever not enough checkouts open so you queue there.
Our daughter has now done her back in so that's a bit more work for MrsC in particular. Her in laws have stepped up as well, bless them.
It's clouded over here but it isn't cold.
Have a good day all.
Kaz, thanks for the extra quiz.

Very warm indeed here, it's much more humid than yesterday! Busy day so far - Zumba first thing, then a walk up to the Co-op to get D some bread, and the non-dairy milk she needed to make Mick some soda bread 8-) A walk home, then made some lunch to eat on the decking.

Relaxing now! :D

Love to all xxx

Hi everyone. Stunning afternoon after a grey start - it's my sister's birthday (she's 78 now!) so I was out soon this morning trying to find her a birthday card and a bottle of red wine (she will get something else but that's all I could get first thing) then I called in for a visit! We sat apart in her garden, chatted for ages - I had planned to do this but not said anything, she said she thought I might call as I'd not had the usual Monday Facetime LOL.

From there I went to Lidl for the weekly shop, the face mask I had taken to wear (not worn one yet) the elastic snapped as I was putting it on  so that went for a burton. I kept my distance and used the handwash all the time.

Some sad news today - my brother's NDN, an elderly lady in her 90s who they view as an aunty, had a fall during the night on Thursday, they had to get an ambulance for her....sad to say she died yesterday. My brother and his wife are down as her NOK as she has no other family, so they'll have the legal stuff to sort as well as her house to sell. Kath (SIL) used to be a Legal exec so knows all the stuff involved.
