Last night's A Word on iPlayer to watch later and Sewing Bee tonight. Bliss.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

It's Portugal Day :Hi: :Hi: so national holiday and Corpus Christi tomorrow, so another holiday  We have our flag out :D

High cloud around this morning, so feeling cooler. Will hot up later.

Off to strim the drive this morning, won't take long and that should be the last one for a few months.

After breakfast, it's out in the garden, getting ready for the gravel arrival on Friday.

Feels like it should be Thursday, as we went shopping yesterday, instead of today

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Merry morning you two, morning all

The usual early start because of the chickens and then a 7am Click & Collect grocery pick up - but not sure what happened but I'm missing a few things I'm sure I had ordered. But suspect I may not have checked out properly as the missing items aren't anywhere to be seen on the order confirmation. Very frustrating because what I'm missing won't add up to the £40 minimum spend for a free click & collect and is needed before the weekend; so plan B coming up.

Ally, enjoy your day, and Jan hope you get everything ready for the gravel - where is this lot going? Enjoy the two holiday days

Another usual / usual for me so nothing interesting to report. Not sure the weather will hold for much outside stuff to be done but got plenty to do indoors to keep me out of trouble :D

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning all, it’s dull and drizzly here.

John’s started coming on the early walks with me, otherwise he’s not getting outside until the evening walk. He’s now in a ‘meeting’. I’m hoping that it’ll dry up shortly, I want to do some washing as, judging by the forecast for the next few days, today gives me the best chance of getting it dry.

Ria, I’ve done that before. On the day before the click and collect my Mom called with her shopping list so I reopened the order and added it but I didn’t check out and forgot to do it before the deadline so everything I’d added was missing when I got the shopping, and I had to go into the supermarket after all.

Have a good day all :)

Grey and drizzly here too Jo. I thought they said it would be getting warmer? Not here it isn't.
One of MrsC's cousins has just sent her a clip of Michael McIntyre on her phone saying "this is REALLY funny!" and it erm, really isn't.
MrsC and sis off to their dads soon, I'm stuck in. Never mind, wore things happen at sea.
Enjoy the Iberian heat Ally and Jan! Ria, that has to be annoying!
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s a wet one here, I’m glad I got washing dry yesterday - although that now becomes ironing needing to be done :? I have a Zoom chat with gym friends at 11am including a couple who haven’t done it before so it will be nice to “see” them. My lovely new phone arrived yesterday, it is now so easy to transfer the data and it was up and running in no time. Michael might come down later to play table tennis with Edward, that’ll be another big hug then :D

Ally, have the tissues nearby when watching The A Word, you will laugh and cry. This has got better with each series.

To the right of the car port for some of it Ria, we *make that me( have cleaned it a couple of times, we-ve planted a lemon tree and have a couple of hardy plants there, so the gravel will finish it off.

Have also done a couple more paths, one by the pool and one to the new garden store. It will go around it oo and then we can put some roses there. Maybe in a couple of other places, if there-s any left over, just to fill in the gaps.

Warming up nicely now 8-)

Good morning - dull, a little bit of rain in the air, and a bit colder than of late.

Back into the town this morning to put Mrs O's watch in at the hardware stores for battery replacement. They'll phone me when ready. Then to the building society to deposit a cheque, and I was lucky, they are only opening 3 days a week, mornings only; thankfully this was one of them. No Polish sausage spree today as I'm still recovering from yesterday's bratwurst-fest. All very quiet around town, no real signs of shops preparing to re-open yet (apart from the Donkey Charity shop) - there was a small queue for the Post Office and that was about it. On the way back, a jogger ran into the road to socially distance himself from me on the pavement and was very nearly clipped by a speeding cyclist. :?

Master O has been swabbed for the virus, so we shall be interested to learn the result in due course.

Don't work too hard, Jenni ....

Stay safe, all.
