Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 13 Jun 2020, 04:55

Good morning.

Hot. 8-)

Big day today!

Don and I are getting the bus into Málaga to meet up with Jacob and Conor for the second part of Don's 60th birthday celebrations. :D

We're meeting up at the cathedral and will walk to the port. There are lots of lovely restaurants for Don to decide where to eat.
The boys are paying for everything.

We'll have a walk along the coast afterwards.

All done with the appropriate distancing and measures.

Don and I were last in Málaga at Christmas time and I haven't been in since early February when some girlfriends visited.

Don will be told today what the third and final part of his present is (I've known since November ;) )

I'm just off for a walk...my favourite part of the day. :D

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A lovely, sunny morning, Just right for shifting 5 ton of gravel

Hope you all have a lovely day Ally xx

We'll do part of the gravel moving, but not all of it today. Probably ;)

This afternoon, it's the heady heights of Pingo, as I need to get stuff I forgot last week

Pit stop at the bar on the way back, meeting friends and sticking our name and address on our post box :Hi:

Sill Saturday dinner tonight is pizza and chips, something we normally never eat

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doingxx

Looks really lovely :D

Daughter is off on a jolly for her birthday and is heading down to the New Forest for the day and we've had umpteen texts and phone calls from friends about the post boxes being ready. And limited. So pleased we got ours yesterday :D

Now jiggered, so doing nowt, apart from shower and head into Ourique later.

Good morning!
I think everyone here must still be in bed. Tut tut!
We have been out for a paper and milk, I've dropped MrsC off at her dad's and now as I'm typing this the sun has come out! Can't be bad. It was chucking it down earlier.
Red wine and pizza later. Sometime this weekend I'll have to get some cash out. The first time since March! :o
That pit stop sounds like a top idea Jan.Enjoy your walk Ally. If I were Don I'd be full on wanting to know what the other part of the present was!
Have a good day all.

Gosh, you have been busy Jan.

A lazy day for us, hoping it's warm enough to sit out in the garden with my kindle.

Good afternoon all, it’s turned into (so far) a dry and sunny day. It was grey when I walked Bill first thing and the app forecast was for rain throughout the day.

Joe’s gone for a walk with Amanda, Tom’s working in the kitchen and John’s on a site visit to BMW near Oxford (Cowley?). Normally I’d have gone with him and spent some time in Oxford but there’s no point is there.

There’s washing drying in the line so that’ll need ironing later. Me and Tom are just about to have a sausage sandwich for lunch.

Enjoy the day Al, hope Don likes his surprise!

Have a good day all!

Afternoon all, after a dull start it has warmed up quite nicely with occasional hazy sunshine peeping through the clouds. I feel a bit brighter today and will get out for a walk later. We are taking it in turns to go out as I am expecting a parcel from Debenhams which is supposed to be delivered today - and it better be, because I paid extra for that. Edward is across the road practising his golf and when he comes back, I’ll go out. No other plan for the day, reading mostly.

Afternoon everyone :)

Ally, that does sound exciting! :D

*Waves to everyone*

Early start here as we had our SW meeting - B lost another 3lbs, I am just hovvering on a maintain at the moment ;) Then we went out to get D some bits, took them up there, and sat in her garden, suitably distanced.

We were going to take the dogs to see her, but the new gardener was there with Harold, his Boston Terrier, so we thought better of it ;) Back here for some lunch - bacon and tomato wraps - and now chilling out with the newspapers 8-)

Enjoy the rest of your day :) xxx
