Morning Ally and Jan, morning all
Ally, I know - cannot believe it's been four months. Friday 13th March is when our company told everyone to work from home and stay home until further notice - not sure anyone ever even imagined it would still be going on now.
Jan, not often you don't have more than just washing to do - enjoy the quiet day and say hi to everyone at the bar please
Cruiser, hope the TV gets fixed and you manage to source / sort the brackets.
Well, usual working from home for me; emails so far are quiet which means I hopefully will be able to give the chicken fence it's 2nd coat of paint and then I can plant flowers in front of it and make it all look like it's meant to. I'll head to the allotment this evening to water; and maybe do a bit more weeding. I keep losing track of time when there though and need to remember I have animals to feed and put to bed
. Was there for 5 hours yesterday and got quite a bit done - was lovely.
My nieces' birthday today as well as the mom of my sister-in-law in South Africa; she is 89 today. But because of Covid her care home has been on strict lock down and she hasn't been able to see her mom for four months now. That's just mad, understandable, but mad. Cases in SA are rising rapidly and the country has gone back a step with their lockdown - no alcohol sales with immediate effect again and countrywide curfew from 9pm to 4am. They have a huge problem with large crowds gathering in the evenings so are hoping these two measures will stop that and slow the spread. But I'm not sure it'll make much different at this point - the damage is done.
Well, have a lovely day everyone xx
