Morning Ally, morning everyone

Rather warm already.

Grumpy is in his workshop, playing with his new toy. I'll do some of the cleaning before it gets too hot. Then it's the pool.

Other than that, not a lot ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning you two, morning all

A very quiet day on the work front today; we had one call scheduled and that's been cancelled. I got up usual 5.30am to let the chickens out and then went back to bed and only got up at 8

Promising to be a lovely hot day today for us as well around 28 / 29 degrees (well hot for us - positively arctic for you Ally and Jan;  )

Will see how the day progresses, but have one chicken that's not well so taking it to a local couple who know all there is to know about chickens and hopefully it'll save me a vet trip.

Other than that, just more of the non descript pootling and working

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it is a dull day here, there is a breeze but it is humid as well. I’ve been for a walk, then just after I got back, SIL’s brother came to collect something we had for him. My sister is having a pedicure in the nearby nail bar so she will pop in when she is finished. Then I’m meeting some of the gym ladies for coffee at 1.30ish. Edward has gone to play golf.

Afternoon everyone *waves* :)

It looks like we're all fit and well, apart from your chook Ria, hope she's ok xxxx

I've been busy, stripped the bed to take advantage of the stunning weather today - beautifully sunny with a nice breeze - and also got a line if whites out, hoovered and polished downstairs, then walked up to see D as she'd sounded a bit down in the dumps when I rang her. So we had a nice cuppa and a chat, and I've not long got home, via the Co-op to pick up the grapes I forgot to get in Sainsbury's yesterday.

I've just had the loveliest surprise, a WhatsApp message out of the blue from a dear schoolfriend who I haven't seen or heard from in 25 years! She got my number from a mutual schoolfriend. We lost touch as she worked abroad a lot cooking on luxury yachts all round the world! She and her husband have recently moved back to the UK and have settled in Somerset! We're going to have a proper chat and catch-up later this afternoon. It has proper made my day! I have looked for her, on social media, but no luck. She turned up on our mutual friend's doorstep yesterday, looking for her and for me - luckily she still lives in her childhood home :D

Good afternoon everybody.
Went to town this morning. Wanted some birthday cards and then went to bank to pay a cheque we got from Premium Bonds. Only £25.00.
Boughttwo sandwiches from a stall in the market which makes them fresh. They have several differentypes of joints and cut what you want.
Much tasyier than the mass produced ones wrapped in plastic.

After lunch have been to Tesco and to get some wood so I can put another shelf in the garage. The firm who sells wood is always busy both for DIY people like me and builders
and other contractors.
Then I have mowed the lawn and cut dead flowers off. We have several Evening Primrose. roses and several others which I can't remember the names.
Now relaxing before our evening meal.
