Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 20 Jul 2020, 05:33

Good morning.

Two chip pans hot.

Idiot Iron Woman me came up with the idea of climbing Monte Paloma with the hubster. So that's Monday's madness sorted.

Leaving shortly with 25 litres of water.

Have a good day.

PS..... today's the day David and I would have been starting our Kilimanjaro trek. :o

Complete change of plan!!!!

We were literally five minutes from leaving when our gate rattled to find a very stressed Joaquin asking if one of us could take him into Málaga centre (he's a bank manager) as his car wouldn't start. Don volunteered. :D
By the time he gets back it will be way too hot to start a climb.

I'm off for a swim. Paloma can wait until Wednesday. We'd have done it tomorrow but we have a lunch date with Jacob. :D :D

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Warm already but a little hazy 8-)

Watering done, washing machine on, Grumpy going to be pool boy, I'm cleaning the new back room - how those spiders get in is beyond me :cute: :cute:

Maria Jose gave me a courgette, aubergine and a couple of cucumbers on Friday, so I'm going to make something for dinner the with first two. Will add chickpeas and other stuff. Could be interesting ;)

have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Glad you were able to help Joaquin - bet he was relieved!
Jan, same as you washing machine is running and I'll get that on the line and then get the bedding washed. Why not make a vegetable curry with the stuff you were given; add some potatoes and some beans and hey presto - yum!

A few things planned today; in between working that is - watering, sorting a few plants and generally trying to get the upper hand with my garden. It's all a big mess at the moment and needs a desperate sort out; so that'll be the plan for this week.

Not much else going on

Have a lovely day all x

Morning Ally, and everyone :)

Ah well Ally, the mountain will still be there for Wednesday, or whenever 8-) ;) xx

Mick was also on "lift" duty as B's usual ride, her friend Holly, is off today, so we were all up by 7 :cute: It's a beautiful day, I've got the first of several washer loads almost ready to peg out. Must fit in a walk at some point today, otherwise no real plans.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

I had been thinking along those lines - but it will be about 38C later - I'll be leaking making it and then leaking eating it

Blimey! That's more than five gallons in old money! :o
Good morning all. A lovely day for the garden Ria; Jan go on, a good curry and blistering heat will be good for you! It's a good drying day here too Kaz.
Off to the bungalow this morning, nearly done. Then to the bank to update Fil's change of address etc.
We have booked a week off in North Yorkshire in August! :Hi: Sitting by the riverside with a nice glass of rose sounds like a plan to me.
Have a good day all.
