Good morning - dull and drizzly here, so gardening put on hold. We have about 4 clumps of something called "lambs tail" at the bottom of the garden which I need to lift and get out; we've had it before and it gets ginormous, but it's actually a rather notorious countryside "weed". We've had it out once, but it's come back ....

Looked on the HMR&C website to see if they have beggared up - sorry, processed :D - last year's tax calculation yet, but they haven't, so I can kick that down the road for a couple of months. It needs sorting out, but I don't want to raise the issue with them first as they'll only (from past experience) get their underwear tangled, if you'll pardon the expression. So it's currently a Mexican stand-off; I'll wait for them to make the first move!

Other than that, it's soup-making for the rest of the day. Onions, cabbage and garlic to be prepared and chopped next ..... :D

Glad you're getting things sorted, Crommers. Long job, and it's making sure all the angles are covered, I guess.
Have a good day, all

Afternoon all :D

Overcast and dull here.

Another week's flown by and it's wash day again, how does that happen :o Bit late getting started as we had a nice long lie in, but the first loads in. Sainsbury's delivery later this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Ria, you devil, you! ;) *Waves to everyone * :D

It's another nice day here, although a bit cooler than of late. The breeze will dry my towels nicely 8-) After the good news about B's work colleague I decided to go out, so I've been to the Quays with Em, and bought quite a few bits in the M&S outlet 8-) Everything in the shop was 50% off, so I came out with loads of stuff for both me and Mick for £40  We also had a cuppa and caught up on the gossip :D Ironing this afternoon, not quite as much fun

He's OK Jo, up and down a bit but that's to be expected.
Os, there are so many people to notify and things to do, you wouldn't believe it.
