Grey, cool, cloudy feeling cooler in the breeze/wind/gale Supposed to warm up later, we'll see.

Done the watering, have ironing to do and then a bit more in the garden. managed to fill three large bucket loads yesterday, only one more to go A couple of the plants need cutting back too.

Ally, so glad you're having a good time - not that there ever was a doubt x Enjoy every special minute with your dad, precious times.
Jan, your weather is also being rather variable isn't it - hopefully though the cooler weather means less fires?

Not sure what today brings for me - general pootling in between working. Might pop to the allotment to try sort out the tomatoes - I had all good intentions of picking out side shoots and staking etc, but then the weather was iffy and before I knew it I had a tomato jungle So now need to try stake and remove some of the bottom leaves and hopefully not break any plants.

Waiting for my Iceland delivery they have no lettuce
Tomato or cucumber plus small loaves,well it is summer I have got some left in the fridge I won't starve

Morning all, it’s a bit dull and dreary here. Edward has gone to play golf, I often walk over with him then walk back myself, but didn’t fancy it today. I’m going to the gym at 12.30 and will tidy around before then. I did all the ironing yesterday *polishes halo* so I guess I will have to find “other” h/work to do later.....or not! I had a query on our home insurance renewal so sorted that out on the phone earlier. Right, better get doing stuff.

It's cool at night and first thing Ria, but hots up during the day. July was the hottest since 1931

The fires are still on-going up north, just being better controlled, by a central body, rather then regional ones and it's certainly working.

Hope the lunch was superb Kaz xx
