Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 15 Aug 2020, 05:02

Good morning.

Another lovely day forecast. Almost all days have been like a Spanish Spring day since I arrived. :D

Packing loads into my days...taking full advantage of being here and meeting up with as much family as possible.
Because the weather has been so fab when I've had to socially distance some of my really elderly relatives it's been easy to do so by chatting outside and safely in their gardens.

They've been so happy to see me (and I them) and although no hugs they've loved the elbow thing and laughed gaily. I love their attitude. :D

Off for my walk shortly. Today we're having a girly day round at Fiona's. :D
Nail painting, chatting and her hubby Andy is cooking us lunch. :D

Tonight sis and I are having a couple of pre - birthday drinks in the local pub's beer garden then getting a Chinese take away. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A few clouds around this morning, but in the distance ;)

Glad you're having a great time with family Ally x

Grumpy is going to help me with the last of the gravel this morning. I slightly tweaked a muscle yesterday, so he'll be heaving the wheelbarrow up, I'll do the shovelling  I've already watered a few of the small plants and the laptop nearly ended in the pool, as it was playing up earlier :cute: :cute: it's the clouds  :cute:

Finish off the cleaning after breakfast and the day is mine :Hi:

Going down to the bar this afternoon for a couple of beers :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two :)

Ally, that all sounds fun :D xx

Jan, don't you and Grumpy go overdoing it! ;)

We're sat outside a slightly chilly Corretto's having brunch 8-) Mad to think how boiling hot it was just a few days ago, now we're sat here with jackets on :cute:  It was mine and B's first proper SW meeting earlier. All went well, all socially distanced, masks, hand-gel etc. I put on a pound - not too bad for five months of not being terribly good  :P  We had to weigh with shoes on, so that had to be taken into account. Becky's lost two stones in lockdown so was the star of the show :D :Hi: :Hi:

Round to D's shortly - Mick and I will also be spending the evening there as B is having a very small belated birthday gathering with half a dozen friends, so we're leaving her to it ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

So nice that you are enjoying your time with family Ally. :)
Jan, you and Grumpy are a pair of workers, for sure.
Kaz, exactly the same here -grey and much cooler than of late. Out for a paper soon. Still waiting for my new reading glasses from the optician.
MotoGP practice on TV this afternoon. I splashed out on a sports package from BT the other week to include Sky and then when I looked at what was actually on Sky sport I think I might have boo booed!
Never mind, Leeds are in the Prem next season so that's all good.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all, after a dull and misty start, it has cleared up to be a lovely day and we enjoyed a walk down along the pier and the harbour. Not doing much otherwise. We’ll be watching the snooker final, yesterday’s semis were very exciting.

They had already closed here in Ireland. I’ve bought some clothes online from them though and get daily emails from them. I always liked Debenhams :(
