Good Morning Sunday

Postby JanB » 16 Aug 2020, 07:11

Morning everyone

Bit cloudy this morning and a heck of humidity last night - everything is wet 8-)

General pootling today for me, outside in the garden :Hi: Grumpy will be staining and putting finishing touches to the new bench, although he still has to make the arm rests.

Risking a bbq later, but we'll do it at the front, which is all gravel, so should be okay.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan, morning everyone

Another dull, grey and drizzly day here and not very warm. Jan, can't wait to see photo's of the finished bench; and enjoy the BBQ - as you say should be safe enough at the front. Been meaning to ask - has next door got more sheep / goats again, or are they definitely gone for good?

We're off to friends later today for a surprise 50th, bless Tim and Janet who are hosting - they don't have the most space inside so we all need to be outside. They've put up a gazebo but if the predicted rain arrives then we'll all be a bit scuppered, and VERY cozy in their kitchen / lounge area. I've got some gazebo sides in the shed that I'll try dig out and take with me as I don't think they've got them and that should make it a bit better. But hey ho... Fingers crossed for dry - cold we can deal with, but wet is an issue

Have a lovely day everyone xx

No sheep or goats that we can see Ria. But he's had a severe telling off from the vet and SEPNA bods about feeding his remaining animals and at last, the goats are getting straw on a daily basis.

Hope it stays dry for you all x

Morning all, it is very grey and miserable here and supposed to be much the same for the rest of the day, although Edward has been across the road chipping golf balls and he says it is not particularly cold. We are hoping to go to the outdoor dancing again today, so if it doesn’t rain we should be ok.

Morning all. Another one here who is having another excitement packed day! Or not.
Daughter and Eliza and dog have just been, so the house is upside down now!
A miserable day here, a steady very fine drizzle and not overly warm.
Chicken for dinner and the bike racing on tv this afternoon, not much apart from that.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all :D

Quite dull, but still very hot. Lots of sun yesterday afternoon, no rain here, but it came down heavily further up the coast.

Enjoy the BBQ Jan.
Fingers tightly crossed the rain stays away Ria.
I know what you mean Saundra, my life is mostly one big Groundhog day

I've got a strawberry blancmange and blackcurrant jelly setting in the fridge and will cook a chicken to have with salad later. Far too hot to do much more.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx
