Afternoon all, it is dull but dry here. I was to go to the gym but cancelled as my back felt a bit dodgy. So I’ve done the ironing and after lunch, I’ll clean the bathrooms. I am having a manicure at 3pm and after that, I will almost feel as if my holiday has started.

Jen, I really wish I could give you a big hug. You said that they gave E lots of morphine when they moved him, I wonder is that what made him sick, I know it can have that effect. Sooo frustrating being far away from him, I’d find that very difficult. Saundra, I hope Scarlett enjoys school, Kellie had a wobble or two when they first went back but has settled down now.

Afternoon everyone :)

Jen, I do truly feel for you both, and it must be terrible not to be able to visit. Sending my very best ((((x))))

We're having the best time here, it's so beautiful and very relaxing :) We walked to Salcombe today, rather than catching the ferry. It's not much more than a mile or so but there are some very steep hills so it was quite a yomp! We had lunch in The Kings Arms, by the Victoria Quay, wandered round a few art galleries (and the fudge shop   ) then walked back :) It was very warm and sunny this morning, but as we started home so did the rain! We've got our feet up now

Love to all xxxx

Kaz, it sounds really lovely! Glad you’re having a great time :D

Jen, my thoughts are with you both x

I hope Scarlett enjoys her day at school!

Good afternoon, we’ve been to Ikea this morning. We’ve finished decorating the living room so wanted some new lighting and they had a ceiling light which matches the lamps that we had from there. It wasn’t in stock online though so ordering it for delivery wasn’t an option but they had a couple in stock in the store and we got a floor lamp too, and lots of plants and plant pots. It wasn’t an experience I want to repeat any time soon though. Mondays are usually pretty quiet there but we queued for 25 minutes to get in, there wasn’t a huge amount of stock and then we stood for 30 minutes in the queue to pay.

Enjoy the rest of the day!

Thanks Al :D

Jo, the IKEA in Bristol is such a maze, I got hopelessly lost in there the other week! Looking for my friend Clare - we'd arranged to meet in the cafe, but it was closed, so by the time I got there she'd wandered off looking for cushion covers! :?  We did find each other, eventually :?
